In recent years, the term “tech-house” has taken on a whole new direction that has swayed some considerable distance from its origins. One of the early protagonists of this much-misunderstood sub-genre is Asad Rzvi aka Silverlining. His nineties deep, groovey garage tinged house is nothing short of seminal and appearing first on OG labels such as Wiggle and Wrong, Asad set a template for what would become such a huge sound of current times. Christophe is out of Bristol and (he'll hate me saying this) is mega talented across the board. He can just make stuff. His paintings are incredible and he can tur his hand to whatever he chooses. Aside form that he's got perfect taste for a Sunrise Session set. I know him for his fine selections of deep house but this year he came with a bag of balearic beats and they sounded perfect next to the water. A lovely set.

Turkish national and based in the UK since 91’, Jonny gathered ingredients from far and wide throughout his long standing career, transcending into somewhat of a sorcerer. 
We are chuffed to have him on our podcast series. This set will take us on an acoustically rick journey, from old school House oddities, hypnotic melodies of the Orient to the furthest reaches of Disco. Jonny fuses it all into his own shrouded code, that highlight his eccentric sense of storytelling and nuance.

Having hosted us back in June when we rolled into Hanoi with Brasi, we needed to know more about this meticulous selector. Established himself as resident DJ at the cities Savage club, Zwi is the driving force at one of regions finest beat emporiums and has warmed up for a wide spectrum of artists that have recently included Mr. Ho, Loa Szala, nd_baumecker, Phase Fatale, Vithz, and Lamalice. As well as his continued work with Savage, Zwi also runs his own project METRØ which celebrated turning the ripe old age of six back in May. 

This diverse musical palette has led the Hanoi based Zwi to become a go to artist in the region and has massively informed his all encompassing sound. This is perfectly exhibited on his InSession for us where he moves from moody broken after hour beats through to deeper shades of house, and then through to more upfront cuts but always keeping that groove and funk strong throughout. Zwi proves that even in the far reaches of the underground there are fantastic artists and undiscovered musical gems to be found.
