Enter Dubfire. The DJ and producer is one of the most prolific names in techno today and with success both commercially and in the underground world he is one of the most accomplished artists in the scene. Constantly looking to push the boundary, the innovative producer is now venturing down live route with his new incredible new dubfire:liveHYBRID show which debuted last October at Amsterdam’s ADE. 

Today we are pleased to welcome the man into the mix for i-D. In a rare recording taken from his set at Bestival Toronto, delve deep into the sound of Dubfire. This one is huge.

The Gough Street Session Podcast was aired in the late 2000's by San Franciscan local Zach Moore. The podcast featured international acts such as Elite Force and a bunch of local talent too. This Breaks mix from Zach Moore was aired back in 2009 and mixed intirely on CD's.

DJ Zach Moore spins events from San Francisco to the Black Rock Desert to New York City and beyond. Over his 15 years as a DJ in the Bay Area, Zach has played epic, sold-out events like Outside Lands, Treasure Island Music Festival, Burning Man, BottleRock, Lightning in a Bottle, PEX Summer Fest, GhostShip Halloween and the legendary Breakfast of Champions.

In San Francisco nightlife, Zach is known for three distinct styles of dance music: party-rockin UK & Florida breaks, funky nu-school house and soothing, atmospheric house which he plays under the alias, "W.Haze". Zach is also known as the creator and host of The Armory Podcast.

After attending Esoteric last year and laying down some tunes on the Snake Pit stage, I couldn't wait to get back to the magical dusty dance floor. It's such an incredible festival with a killer vibe and mindblowing decor and visuals. 

I played alongside a stacked lineup of local legends on the thumping Bush Techno Stage on the Saturday night. Loads of chunky proggy rolling techno shenanigans plus a bootleg I made specifically to open this set.
