Letters to the Sun emerged from a place beyond language. What if we stopped screaming into the void of geopolitical power games, and poured attention towards each other instead? What would it mean to build a space that assumes equal footing - a space where we can simply express, on our terms? For sorrow, for rage, for stillness… for the Sun.

This compilation is an attempt to do just that. A sound sanctuary built from words, sounds, breaths, instruments, and pauses - confronting the chasm of silence forced upon the rubble of Gaza, where each bomb is an affront to our humanity, and each whataboutism a dilution of horror. Here, we create space to feel and to share the within, from within, and for one another.

All proceeds of this album are donated to Revive Gaza’s Farmland, a project by Golo Besmlah and the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature. The initiative works to rehabilitate devastated agricultural land and rebuild local food systems. In a place where over 95% of farmland has been systematically destroyed - and where food is weaponised to subjugate and displace - the act of farming becomes an act of resistance.

Letters To The Sun - Waking Life & Dreaming Live - Radio Alhara

"I'm in a place of brutal honesty." The electronic pop auteur talks about her new album, the pressures of performing and falling in love with techno.

One of today's most exciting stars is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, better known as FKA twigs. Genre-wise, she's difficult to pin down; some critics call her music ethereal, alien R&B refracted through the lens of dance music. She's now touring her third album, Eusexua which she's described as "that surge of nothingness right before a surge of creativity, or the moment before an orgasm." It's a response to falling in love with techno a couple of years ago, and the songs all hover somewhere around the rave.

In this RA Exchange recorded live at AVA London 2025, twigs talks to Nadine Noor, founder of queer arts platform PXSSY PALACE, about the process of putting the LP together, as well as the sometimes painful pressures involved in performing and adopting a public persona. Today, twigs says she's in a place of brutal honesty, and on the edge of 40, "hitting the perfect arc of behind hot and not an idiot anymore." She also discusses starting her dancing practice from an incredibly young age, taking her first steps on what she anticipates will be a long partnership with modular synthesis and the challenge of making original art in an era dominated by trends. This set was played live at Envelope Soundsytem’s 2024 Ēostre ritual deep in the redwood forest within the Oakland, CA hills. The intention behind this ritual: 

“Ēostre marks a period of rejoining with queer family and community, and of setting intentions towards the approaching sun-drenched days. We celebrate this ritual to conjure the collective dream, and to see the fractal paths toward our individual dream’s first concrete forms. But dreaming alone can not dispel living nightmares—we must speak our dreams aloud and act towards them in anger. Come, you and yours, come weave your hopes with ours.”
