This is a song fragment made with garageband with imac built-in mic and AC unit running in the background lol. Hoping we will have time in the future for Morry and I to develop it into a complete song. At lunch the other day I was thinking of the lyrics of Iris Dement's song, "Let the mystery be" and started writing on a similar theme, then playing with a piece of a melody an harmony vocals. I have some other lyric edits started. We hope our SC friends enjoy this short demo.

This reflection on the sobering fact that our time on earth for most of us will not impinge upon the memories or future historical knowledge of generations to come, was inspired by a chance remark by my grandson who described an old photo of his younger self as not looking like him at all, and that he suspected his parents had just hung up a photo on the wall of some random boy. He was speaking in jest of course, but what we say can have consequences, and this song is one!

Hello, my name is David Craig Robertson. I started playing guitar at the age of  12. Before then I had taken piano lessons and played the bass violin in the orchestra in middle school. When I discovered I could play some guitar I dropped all else to focus only on guitar. Maybe not the best decision but I was just a kid. I started playing in little high school band's by the age of 16. We played school dances and assemblies and graduations (commencements) and many party's. The summer of my senior year after graduation, the high school band broke up. Soon after, the high school band reformed as a fusion band. After that I played in a band called Born Naked. Born Naked played in the club scene in East Lansing Mi. for some time. It was a big party. Eventually I played in a band called Random Access. After Random Access I got married and started a family. During this time I started playing in Church. No more drunken party's for me. I ended up playing guitar in a Mega Church. I was also playing in christian rock bands. Also I had my own original band called Strange Truth. Then my (ex) wife filed for divorce. I continued playing in church though not the Mega Church. At a point I realized the answers I was looking for were not there at these Churches. At this time I decided to stop playing gigs and just write and record music. I am now re-married and with a wonderful and beautiful Filipina Lady. I consider this a happy ending. I am practicing, writing and recording. I hope someone enjoys the music. That (in a small nut shell) brings us to today.  Peace out man. David.
