"Micro Jam" (demo v1) 

A short one minute jam or sketch I played this weekend using my 37-key Korg microKEY AIR as a MIDI controller. The VST sounds come from Arturia Mini V4 (Minimoog bass sound), Audiolounge Key Affair 3, Spectrasonics Keyscape, UVI FMX2 XL, Gospel Musicians' Neo-Soul Keys Studio 2 and UVI Emulation III. Drums and the fantastic drum beat come from UVI Beatbox Anthology 2 (The 7o7 kit).

Recorded and mixed in Cubase Pro with significant help from iZotope Neutron. Mastered with Ozone 11.

Emergence. Our humanity. Humans being humane... It's actually quite a selfish term when you reflect on what we mean for evolution up to this point. The first known beings that can reason their existence and we have become that destroyer of natural selection from before we existed.

This is very dangerous as we are not only affecting the climate but it looks like the balanced web of life that has built up slowly through billions of years. Gaia theory suggest that harmony and connection with everything is the way forward. We do this through an endeavour to understand this place properly and appreciation for everything. I believe in connecting with everything neuroplasticity can take over and rewire our brains to the system and a path on the greater good for all life. We need this to emerge collectively for it to flourish and become that positive beacon the present and future needs... The signs are there and we are analogies for the larger system. Just like a fake human forest is comparable but has no where near the strenght of one that took millions of years and started as an amoeba... Don't insult the idea of the greater good being some confusing God wrapped thing you don't have to worry about being an atheist or agnostic. It's the greater good for a snail or you or a blade of grass and has nothing to do with anything we don't understand

Hello, my name is David Craig Robertson. I started playing guitar at the age of  12. Before then I had taken piano lessons and played the bass violin in the orchestra in middle school. When I discovered I could play some guitar I dropped all else to focus only on guitar. Maybe not the best decision but I was just a kid. I started playing in little high school band's by the age of 16. We played school dances and assemblies and graduations (commencements) and many party's. The summer of my senior year after graduation, the high school band broke up. Soon after, the high school band reformed as a fusion band. After that I played in a band called Born Naked. Born Naked played in the club scene in East Lansing Mi. for some time. It was a big party. Eventually I played in a band called Random Access. After Random Access I got married and started a family. During this time I started playing in Church. No more drunken party's for me. I ended up playing guitar in a Mega Church. I was also playing in christian rock bands. Also I had my own original band called Strange Truth. Then my (ex) wife filed for divorce. I continued playing in church though not the Mega Church. At a point I realized the answers I was looking for were not there at these Churches. At this time I decided to stop playing gigs and just write and record music. I am now re-married and with a wonderful and beautiful Filipina Lady. I consider this a happy ending. I am practicing, writing and recording. I hope someone enjoys the music. That (in a small nut shell) brings us to today.  Peace out man. David.
