Kintsugi is an art form that embodies the philosophy of wabi-sabi which values the beauty of imperfection and transience. Kintsugi also serves as a metaphor for embracing our flaws and imperfections in life seeing them as a source of strength and beauty and finding resilience in the face of adversity.

What happens if "Dust In the Wind" meets "Classical Gas"?  I sought to answer that profound question one morning when I was riffing on an A-minor chord and couldn't think of another way to describe this acoustic concoction. I couldn't think of a better name for it either, but seemed to have a "ballad" feel to it, either about a hero or villain, I'll let you decide, and maybe catch a "catnap" thinking about it:)

During the first few months of last year, I was ill with my recurring kidney stone problems.

Fortunately, that passed.

I left some of the compositions I started unfinished, and some sketches were barely started.

This is one of them.

My mother lives in a typical Andalusian house in Seville.

One of the characteristics of these houses is that they usually have a courtyard where there are all kinds of flowering and non-flowering plants.

Obviously, they need to be cared for, watered, fertilized, etc.
My mother loves doing it, and in spring she reaps the rewards of her labor.

I always give my flower icons to the women I follow (I hope I'm not annoying them by doing that), so I thought it was interesting to draw inspiration from all of that to put this together.

This composition draws inspiration from those who've traveled "the long road back"—whether to find their way home, reclaim their health, or revive a cherished dream. Starts slowly, and builds into a dancing mayhem distortion, for my followers to dance and enjoy.
My style, copy compo goes into overdrive, fun and still my passion for classical Spanish guitar, always there.

Written for a friend in a Spiritual trial and a life transition. It's tough to be not quite settled in your life and situation. Add in deep spiritual questions and the quest for a soulmate in life, and it's just a lonesome place to be. I've been there a few times. You can get past it but, it is the empty vagueness of it all ya know?...sigh. ♥An Instrumental track. Guitars.
