Sea Breeze Dance

Tom's piano melodies are so inspirational, not just to me (Mark) but also to Jussi, Georg and Boon. The energy of this piece carried us all off on a wonderful journey. Recorded in 2021. remastered.  I have to have a new way to play the piano. My sister and my son are doing that. They are working out a way to bring the piano to my hospital bed. I can no longer sit up, even in my powerchair. It's too uncomfortable and hard to breathe. I don't have functioning back or abdominal muscles, and I can't lift my head off my chest unless In laying back. Only my arms and hands are semi-functioning. My thumbs are going bad. I can't pull a zipper. I won't be able to play as well and I don't know how I'll work the sustain pedal - but I'll do my best! 😊🎶🎹🎶

Written for my youngest daughter Rachel a few years ago, it explores the smooth jazz format using the Godin Encore nylon string guitar.  Annie Smart heard it, loved it, and asked to collaborate on it.  Her additions of vocals and piano are wonderful, artistic, and insightful; so good that I had to incorporate some of her lovely additions in the instrumental track.
