it's like it laps itself... what a cool feeling.  i wasn't even paying super legit attention... was working on stuff while this played repetitively in my headphones.  it just kind of sneaked up on me (or snuck as they'd say).

A live coding session using Sonic Pi.  Samples are mostly recordings of metal on metal.

Recorded sounds provide a rich and extensive palette of colors and textures.  I like to glean what I can from single short samples of sound.  I particularly like squeaks and creaks.  Lately, I've become enamored with the enormous selection of vinyl records available on archive.org.
