Since 2007 NASP is a OMA (OneManArmy) a solo project entirely made by me Alexandre Santos born and raised @ Porto in Portugal.
That said, here´s a little global description for my sound:
"The world created by Not a Side Project is a mix of dark and light, war and peace, high peaks and fluid valleys, where silences become loud and the blend of guitar and drums carries the listener in a sublime trip through ominous atmospheres."

I am a guitar player and I only create "original" music no copies, and a lot of it is guitar instrumentals. I love creating music and playing guitar, especially. Hey, my name is Markus. In the past I've made Metal, Punk and Heavy Rock with my friends in my garage. I played the bass guitar and sometimes vocals. But that was way back (in the 90s).
