Dancemyth is the moniker of Michigan producer Daniel Smith. Presenting sets of all original music spanning between dubstep, glitch hop, and even downtempo, Dancemyth strives to bring a unique performance that takes you through a journey of his productions; all alongside live guitar improvisation. With releases on several different labels and collaborations with many different producers, Dancemyth is making a name for himself as an independent artist in the scene.

Hi, my name is David Minnick. I write and record a lot of different sorts of music for free and/or for money. Mostly, I like to make music that makes me laugh. I've been writing and recording music since 1980 (when I was 13). I've put out recordings under the names: The Sursiks, Oven Mitt Johnson, The 180 Gs and Zermos. I was the guitarist/primary songwriter for the Detroit ska band Gangster Fun from 1987-2000. I've written for short films, video games, TV ads, but I teach for a steady income.


Schoolcraft College Synthesizer Ensemble 2020

This semester the Schoolcraft College Synthesizer Ensemble, under the restrictions imposed as a result of Covid-19, met remotely. We decided to create a collection of original music without ever being in the same room together. The project was entirely collaborative; each member contributing to the composition, arrangement, performance, production, engineering and mastering of the songs. I hope you enjoy the music!

Luke Jachman
 is a 19-year-old student at Schoolcraft College. He has broad interests in music, including post-rock, jazz, and klezmer. He plays piano and guitar, and is interested in using musical modes and non-western scales. He hopes to be a composer.

Kasmin Johnson
 is a 29 year old music student at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan. He’s an artist that attempts to find beauty in all sound, whether in music or merely visual accompaniment. Always pulling influences from as many places as possible, remaining a student to both sonics and composition.
