this is a fantastic song David....it only seems like the other day my son was taking his first steps, now he’s halfway through high school, and before i know it he too will “ leave the nest” to make his own way............great work man, and your vocals and harmonies are just spot on to my ears 👍

Very sweet and true!   My sons are 23 and 16. The younger graduating this year and a 2 year old grandson that I care for daily. So the cycle seems to have started over😊and very quickly. Cherish every moment! 😁😁

Had to check this one out as I have just finished writing a song with the same title. There are probably squillions of others out there as well. Nice song, put together and delivered with a pleasing sound.

I've been thinking about little ones leaving the nest quite a lot recently. My kids are 10 and 7, so not imminent, but it still makes me feel a tiny bit sad (and a tiny bit relieved). I certainly know others with kids who are closer to that point, so this one's for them 🙂

When I'd finished my bits on the track, it felt like it was still missing a little something. So I sent it over to my man @nahlejmusic for some sweet percussive magic and, as always, he promptly delivered the goods. Thank you!
