Anthony Phillips is a British composer & guitarist who is known as a prolific writer of music for film and television as well as a recording artist.  He was a founding member of the band Genesis, with whom he recorded the albums From Genesis To Revelation and Trespass.

Ant’s debut solo album The Geese & The Ghost was released in 1977 and since then he has created an extensive output as a recording artist.  As well as album releases such as Wise After The Event, Slow Dance and Field Day, he has to date also released ten albums in the Private Parts & Pieces series and four volumes in the Missing Links series.  

Whilst Ant continues to release solo albums to critical acclaim, increasingly his music has been much in-demand for film and television both through commissioned works and the licensing of tracks from his extensive output of Production Music.  Commissions have included scores for the award-winning Survival series on ITV and the Natural World series on the BBC.  Ant’s music has also been featured on commercials, films and television series throughout the world including Saturday Night Live, Frasier, Oprah Winfrey, Panorama, Horizon and Coast.

2014 saw Ant renewing his association with Cherry Red Records via the Esoteric Recordings label who are re-issuing his back catalogue.  Harvest of the Heart, a five CD deluxe box set which celebrates Ant's rich musical heritage by featuring recordings made between 1969 and the present day was released in November 2014 to wide-spread acclaim.  Further releases include the Definitive Editions of The Geese & The Ghost, Wise After The Event, Sides, 1984 and Slow Dance which include 5.1 surround sound mixes of the album and boxed sets of the first eight albums in the Private Parts & Pieces series.

Zack Ferris started piano at the ripe age of seven and has continued to this day pursuing his love of playing the keyboard. Zach has composed pieces ranging from twelve tone rows, to four part contrapuntal fugues, to TV jingles to brass fanfares to big band charts to pop singles.. After receiving his BA in Filmscore from Berklee College of Music six years ago Zack decided to hit the west coast.

He worked as an educator focusing specifically on the art of improvisation at the Blue Bear School of American Music. Then he landed a job instructing students about motif writing at Cogswell College. He shared his knowledge of music theory teaching at Pyramind in San Francisco and educated others in piano improvisation at New Mozart School and the Palo Alto School of the Performing Arts. He has instructed all ages at Vibomusic and has taught theory and Emagic Logic intensive courses at Cogswell College.

Additionally he provided tech support for all musical applications with a company called Obedia.com.He signed with an independent label called Music in the Vines in 2000. Ferris scouted for Promofm.com. Ferris did music synthesis for Somatone.com. His influences include Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Danilo Perez, Keith Jarrett, Meschell N’dechello, Bobby McPherrin, Soulive, Kenny Garrett, Mccoy Tyner, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Arturo Sandoval, Guillermo Rubacaba, Eddie Palimieri and Sting. He has appeared as a guest artist on KCSM with his last jazz release “Chasing the Cheetah.” He is working on his next two releases, one entitled “1,2,3,” which is mostly solo jazz piano and the other is an album dedicated to Afro-Cuban music. He was an understudy with Coto Pincheira who was mentored by Chucho Valdes and Gonzalo Rubalcaba. He was a sideman at Rasselas with Gary Flores.

In Jan 2010 he was asked to direct Orcestra Conquistado with congero Carlos Ramirez. In the fall of 2014 he was accepted to North Bennett Street School (Boston, MA) and was an understudy with Emily Townsend, Debbie Cyr and Jack Stebbins training to be a piano technician. He has collaborated with Baba Tunde Leah, Karl Perazzo (Prince), Vernon Ice Black (Mariah Carey), Quanti Bomani , Naim Satya, Ledisi, Josh Jones, Louis Romero, Curtis Ohlson, Bobby Bryant, Stymie and the PJLO, La Gran Orquestra, Mingo Lewis (Miles Davis), Josh Jones, Nicole “Butta” Pearson (American Idol finalist) , Larry Jazz Thomas and Ziggy Modeliste.

I'm currently posting solo original compositions created using sync'd Digitech JamMan XTs, a Looperlative LP1, Vocalist Harmonizers, Strandberg, Godin, Yamaha and Ovation acoustic and midi guitars, Yamaha electronic drums/percussion, and Roland/Boss GR-20 and GT3 multi-fx pedals.  

I perform live and am available for studio and collaborative works, I also offer a limited schedule for collab recording and lessons in guitar-based technology at Loopstudio23.  

I am mainly a vocalist and guitarist, but I also play drums, keyboards, percussion, mandolin and I quickly adapt to most styles and workflows.

Steve Jansen’s next release is a reinterpretation of the more ambient and orchestral elements of ‘Tender Extinction’. Not a remix by any means, some familiar passages are woven together with additional pieces to create a suite of instrumentals lasting over 55 minutes as one single track. - follow here to be notified when it comes out.

Jansen contributed to albums by Annie Lennox, Perry Blake, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Anja Garbarek, and numerous other artists. In 2005, Jansen, Sylvian, and Burnt Friedman formed a collaborative project called Nine Horses, which released two albums and an EP on Sylvian's Samadhisound label between 2005 and 2007. The same label also released Jansen's debut solo album, Slope, in 2007. Jansen collaborated with Steve D'Agostino and John Foxx for an ambient album called A Secret Life, released by Foxx's Metamatic label in 2009. Jansen has released several instrumental pieces (often composed as soundtracks to visual exhibitions and installations) as digital singles, with plans for a second solo album. In 2015, Kscope Records began reissuing long out of print Jansen/Barbieri titles, starting with Lumen (a recording of the duo's only live performance, from 1996) and the 1995 studio album Stone to Flesh. In 2016, Jansen released his second solo LP, Tender Extinction, followed in 2017 by an ambient and orchestral reinterpretation of the release, titled Extinct Suite.
