During this long Covid period, everybody had passed by up & downs. Low motivation, huge frustration. As artists, not touring, not meeting peoples every weekend, not seeing smiles & energy on a dance floor was quite of a mental challenge. It was important for us to keep the focus, not loosing it! This name of the track was inspired from that since it was produced along those times and energy reflect our vision to look further with philosophy & positivity (Cosmic Boys)

Here's another mashup that d.Santis ( @dsantismusic ) and I did. One of my currently favorite producers is Ramon Bedoya ( @deejayramonbedoya ). He remixed/edited Dubfire's remix of Grindhouse (Original by Radio Slave).

This mashup was inspired when Juan Beatz posted "Techno Vocals" by Marc Houle on Instagram. We twisted, chopped, looped, and laid the vocals/acapella of this track over Ramon's recent edit.

Though a relatively new DJ (since 2011), David Paul has had his heart deeply rooted in House & Techno music for much longer than that. Funky Teknomics started as an internet radio show, created and hosted by Cristoffer Zuniga & David Paul, streaming live from Temple's radio studio/booth in early 2013. Quickly, Cristoffer and David Paul turned it into a series of monthly parties that moved to a different venue every month, titled Funky Teknomics' SF Tour. As a duo and collaboration, they have been able to take their music, gigs, positive vibes & love of underground music to places further than they first imagined. Currently, David Paul carries on the brand and music, along  with DJs Joey Moretti, Zara Mez, & d.Santis. 2 promoters/hosts are part of the Funky Teknomics team, Ginseng aka “Gino” Guzman, & Shaylene Fitzgerald.
