Here’s another live and unedited mix from afterhours for you. This was immediately after Nicole Moudaber’s set at Halcyon, so I was definitely “in the mood” for some more Techno. I do end with some good Tech House though. I use tracks from my favorites like Durtysoxxx, Metodi Hristov, Kaiserdisco, Pleasurekraft, Carlo Lio, Mario Ochoa, Trent Cantrelle, and two other I’d especially like to mention. 

First of which is person that has some really great mashups, I even used 2 of them. His name is Nefelibata Jr. The mashups I used were using Another Club by Radio Slave, and the other was with U R Sleeping, which I also had in my Coco Maya mix from 2016.

The second is by an artist who has been putting out some really great Tech House, Ramon Bedoya. I first found him when I found “Moskito”, my favorite track for March and April “I’m high as motha fucka, fly as a mutha fucka”; keep an eye on this guy if you love Tech House with percussions.

Though a relatively new DJ (since 2011), David Paul has had his heart deeply rooted in House & Techno music for much longer than that. David Paul has also co-created Funky Teknomics Radio with partner Cris Zuniga. Funky Teknomics started as an internet radio show, created and hosted by Cristoffer Zuniga & David Paul, streaming live from Temple's radio studio/booth in early 2013. Quickly, Cristoffer and David Paul turned it into a series of monthly parties that moved to a different venue every month, titled Funky Teknomics' SF Tour. As a duo and collaboration, they have been able to take their music, gigs, positive vibes & love of underground music to places further than they first imagined. Currently, David Paul carries on the brand and music, along  with DJs Joey Moretti, Zara Mez, & d.Santis. 2 promoters/hosts are part of the Funky Teknomics team, Ginseng aka “Gino” Guzman, & Shaylene Fitzgerald. The Funky Teknomics sound spans from, and through Deep House, Tech House, Funky House, and Techno.
