Montreal producer Gab Rhome makes an appearance on Get Physical's Kindisch imprint this month, home already to the likes of Ben Hoo, YokoO, Melokolektiv and Bedouin. Rhome, the former All Day I Dream and Anjunadeep producer, delivers a splendid two track piece in 'Jeunesse Dorée', an EP which showcases once more his delicate touch and his impeccable sound selection. 'Raphael' is a sonic tale primed to take you away, offering an exquisite ensemble of textures around a tidy, bouncing groove. With this in mind, we took Ecuadorian sound-seer Nicola Cruz’s latest audiovisions and refracted them through the minds of some of the world’s hottest young cultural interpreters. To provide you with the best possible approximation of what the results feel like, we then sent an intern to loiter outside a local Heart-Opening Ceremony to get people’s unfiltered reactions just moments after they awakened to their new place in the universal order. Moscow based brothers Sasha and Sergey alias Simple Symmetry have been responsible for some of 2017's musical special treats. The basement inspired duo took on responsibility to remix Adam Port's 'I Never Wear Black' and even get deeper with releases on Disco Halal, Multi Culti, Correspondant and now Dischi Autunno. Latter is run by French DJane Jennifer Cardini and Noura Labbani and just had its EP, The Tuning of the Road by The Magic Ray, released. Simple Symmetry reworked the original, an Indie-Rock influenced song, and added their slightly discoish inspired vibe making the track both: more suitable for the dance floors and paying tribute to a multilayered approach in sounds.

Musically and emotionally, Superpitcher’s third full-length studio album, The Golden Ravedays is a one sound autobiography that exhibits the skill, feeling and style that the artist has honed over a period of twenty years, musically, and forty-plus- years, emotionally. And full-length it is: The Golden Ravedays is an epic album of 24 longer than usual tracks that was released in January 2017 and is stretching over 12 respective chapter albums during a one-year period.

The 12th and final edition of The Golden Ravedays album will be released on record label Hippie Dance in December 2017.

Side A is the ballad of Late Night Skanking. True to the soul of skanking this track is weaving its delicate elements between the rise and fall of a monumental wave that teasingly never breaks. The main melody so seduces and hypnotizes that before you know it you’re a wide-eyed cobra waving away in a basket.

Standing ovation! Hands in the air! He made it! The very last track of Superpitcher’s epic Golden Ravedays odyssey is a jovial spree, a hullabaloo of merrymaking, the perfect celebration of the beginning to end of this heroic album. Punky Reggae Party is a fantastic collision of festive sounds, beats and voices that bring us undecipherable messages and everything else that is far beyond nice, nice, nice. Encore! Encore!

Exclusive V 'TGV'

Vidmantas Cepkauskas alias V compiled Vilnius based nightlife institution Opium Club's first compilation called 'Opium Of The People'. Therefore V gathered a group of club affiliated producers in order to compile a potpourri of music that represents the club's sound. Of course, the resident himself contributed an original track for the compilation too. 'TGV', as V's compilation contribution is named, starts off with a crisp bass line before shortly after the first synth-chords are introduced and add a melancholia that is  highlighted as a second synth sets in and soaks its listener even deeper into V's soundscapes. 'TGV' smoothly depicts Vidmantas intuition for creating a dance floor cut that sounds so easy with its pleasantly calm sound-selection and arrangement that it makes you attain perfection in the heaviness of melancholia. 

'Opium Of The People' compiled and mixed by V will be released April 27th, 2018 on Le Temps Perdu.
