The concept behind the joint-venture consisting of d.b.h and the two turntable wizards Chrisfader and Testa is quite simple: Take a specific genre of music, sample and flip it into danceable beats. 

In the case of their second EP "Dabkeh", named after a popular Mediterranean form of line-dancing, the subject of the musical explorations is the Arab world. The three guys from RLS spent quite some time mining old vinyl or cassettes to create the tracks on this EP, in the hopes of getting some wild Dabkeh moves started on dancefloors worldwide!

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest made me appreciate the rain so much for what it brings and what it washes away. I now live in California where rain is even more scarce and precious to our dry ecosystem.

Mizu is the Japanese word for water and is the title of my single that drops this Friday on October 28th. I started this song on a long road trip with nothing but my laptop and a pair of headphones. This song has turned it into a musical journey I am really excited to share. The song starts out with an ethereal soundscape of rain and thunder that evolves into a section of the song that I imagine as a storm that clears as the second drop comes in. This song captures, for me, a little bit of the essence of rainy days in the Pacific Northwest.

The rain is such a magical thing in so many ways. I love hiking and exploring outside in the rain or staying inside and cozying up. I love to get creative when the rains come, how my mood shifts into more inward expression.

Praying for a wet fall, especially here in CA.

The Freefall Collective have been a standard setting Live Dance Band for a good few years now. Not only that, but they have also been releasing bangers on a host of labels including Rat (Deekline is a big fan), The Pooty Club and their own imprint Supafrequency. 
2012 saw the release of their first album "Sounds out of Time" to a rapturous reception from fans and press alike. Hot on the heels of this career keystone event, plus a buttload of
touring, comes their latest release. "Game Control" is the perfect summing up of the Freefall sound. The original is full of energy and good vibes, but still manages to
hit hard with dirty bass lines and beats. 
This package also comes with an instrumental (for all the DJ's out there that prefer not to have vocals in their sets) and a Dub version. and when we say Dub, we mean DUB. Not dubstep, Not brostep, not drumstep but... DUB. Playing heavily off MC Manics vocal, this version will have you skanking out like Lee Scratch Perry.

He’s been direct support for the likes of Skrillex, CloZee, Tipper and collaborated with top artists such as Afrika Bambaataa, Sizzla, Alex Grey, Ram Dass, Alan Watts, Ooah (The Glitch Mob), Sidecar Tommy (Beats Antique), William Close, and the Grammy Award-nominated vocalist Chaytanya. His Ascend album reached #7 on the iTunes World Music chart and he had two #1 remixes on the Hype Machine. He's traded remixes with CloZee, Desert Dwellers, iLL Gates, Beats Antique, and SOOHAN.

David has released 7 albums and 13 EPs in the last 15 years as well as various singles and remixes. David’s songs are featured on several TV, cable, movies, and video games. Some highlights include the movie Sold (Emma Thompson as exec producer), Lie to Me (FOX), Outsourced (NBC), Live with Kelly Ripa (ABC), ESPN2, Fox Sports, MTV, MTV2, Fuse, Showtime, HBO, EA sports, and a Right Guard commercial. His songs are featured on several music compilations including Sony, Lonely Planet, Red Bull, Craig’s List, and his song “Shout it Out” was in regular rotation at Starbucks. 

David has been producing music for meditation and psychedelic assisted therapy for many years. He's the music facilitator for high profile meditation retreats with the likes of Deepak Chopra, Robert Thurman, Richard Schwartz (IFS), Sunny Strasburg, Gita Vaid, and others. David worked with Phil Wolfson (MAPS researcher, The Ketamine Papers) on the K Dome virtual Burning Man Project. He helped to develop the TRIPP meditation phone app plus contributed music and was the main curator of the music content including well known names such as Moby, Ram Dass, Alan Watts, Desert Dwellers, Dirtwire and others.. In 2023, David released a highly acclaimed album with meditations by Ram Dass. He's also the head of music and sound at TRIPP VR, the #1 meditation platform in virtual reality. In 2020, David co-founded PsyAssist with Sunny Strasburg, a VR and Phone app that features music and guided meditation for psychedelic therapy.

David started his musical journey playing guitar at 8, then playing in the jazz band and marching band in high school. In his 20’s he was signed to various bands and eventually fell in love with the fusion of world music with EDM. He comes from a musical family in New Orleans. His grandfather Oscar Rouzan, was a well known jazz musician and his cousin, Wanda Rouzan, known as the “The sweetheart of New Orleans music”.
