Wow, this song has truly left me speechless. What an empathetic and powerful snapshot of a moment.  I especially love how it manages to transform such a difficult situation into something hopeful and almost 'sublime'. The contrast between the fear ("like heading toward a cliff") and the rescued community in the chorus is simply masterful.

Beautiful song.  Cool vocal and cool arrangement.

Was originally going to write this as another love song after I had put the music together after a few days.  However, we were about to head out the door to go out of town and these lyrics just came to mind quickly.  So, I decided to take a few minutes before we left and recorded what came to mind and it just came to me quickly.  Hopefully you will enjoy this track as much as I do.  Thanks for listening.

Well for starters, thanks for coming and checking out my music. This is a cover of the Aerosmith song "Mama Kin". Aerosmith was the first rock band I really got into as a kid. So it only seemed right that I record the song that was so good Steven Tyler (lead singer of Aerosmith) had it tattooed to his arm. I play all the instruments and do all the vocals on the song. I also do all the recording in my home studio. Lastly I would like to thank Damian on Fiverr for his great mixing skills.
