As far as I'm concerned, I want to start it optimistically despite the
tragic events we are going through at the start of the year.

This song is about mental illness, the way the music takes you from quiet times to hard pounding bass is reflective to that of someone with a mental  illness and how the disease can have its quiet times but than the hard times of the disease can get hectic and out of control you can feel like you are just trying to survive but faith is a strong medicine because we always have hope and power in Jesus.

track 4 from the album "B Sides, Alternates and Other Songs" ......... a collection of 10 songs written or recorded during the making of my "For the Stars" album in 2019 but didn't make the album.......releasing one song monthly thru October 2020!

"What Would Jesus Say" is a true "B Side". It was complete and ready to go during the making of my "For the Stars" album but just didn't make the cut. I think I felt I already had a couple of songs that I would call "about our current times" and just didn't want another. This song is about all the "bad behavior" of people in the world today and asks the question, would they act differently if they thought Jesus or someone important in their lives was watching them.

Who You Are

Of course inspired by the lesser known NY Dolls original. Off their debut album, produced by Todd Rundgren. While liked by the band and Mr. Rundgren, the song was ultimately left off the album. The record company felt the song was too sexist and might offend the mid-western preteen girls which made up the bulk of the bands fan base at the time. Later singer Carly Rae Jepsen, a NY Dolls superfan, released a new version of the track after hearing it on an underground bootleg recording. She actually had some success with it vindicating the band and Mr. Rundgren, lo, so many years later.

Hello Soundcloud, thanks for the Listens, Likes and Support. Im from Melbourne Australia, I have been playing guitar for many years now and played in two bands during the 80's & 90's (STOLEN CAR original) & (STORM cover),both bands never released any material. Since 2010 i have been writing songs and tunes and recording them in my music room (3rd Bedroom), i play Guitar, Bass, Keys, BFD2 Drums(programmed)and Vocals on all of my songs which i class as Demo's, I love all types of music but Hard Rock, Rock to Alternative appeals to me most.
