Desiree Monique, professionally known as Dayla Renee, was born on December 13, 1987. She developed her passion for singing at the early age of two while singing soulful music in the backseat of her mother’s car. The songstress’s first experience with performing on stage was during her reign as a child pageant contestant. T`hereafter, she participated in several pageants over the years and learned how to yodel at the age of 15 for her pageant talent. Dayla’s yodeling took the pageant world by storm, which lead her to open for Leann Womack at the Houston Rodeo and Live Stock Show.
