Kingdom of Poseidon is my solo project.  I write, record and play every instrument on all of these songs.  My style is mostly influenced by progressive rock/metal, however, I delve into other genres at times. Kindess and love is the name of the game, y'all.

When four recently graduated college students came back to the Northern VA/DC area this past year, a seed was planted, and what grew out of that seed was, The Elegant Plums. What started as a project between members Taylor Stevens and Matt Migliore in the Summer of 2013 took some turns and soon added members Devin Galloway on keys and then Danny Price on drums to complete the group. While their sound is still in its early days, they have proven time and again to be able to hold their elegance and keep the crowd jammin'. The members of this group have influence from all realms of the music world and have brought those sounds together to create a new blend of many genres. To know The Elegant Plums one must experience their fun blend of creative covers and originals that can turn any normal evening, into an elegant one.

I think of myself as a poet. For me the poetry I write is a reflection of my internal emotions and external influences, which then I put music to. I create a sound that reverberates curiosity, which amplifies and reflects the particular tone that I want to communicate. My name is David Kosin and I live in Bellevue tagged “the best place to live”, this is debatable, but does allows me the access to an endless stream of material.
