This track is about the blues and trying to take the blues away from people you love. That's where music can help ;-)

August was the first “serious” composition I ever wrote. I was hungry to prove to the world that I was a “real” musician. Whenever I listen to this composition, I am filled with intense nostalgia. A deep longing for the feelings, the emotions, and the atmosphere of my youth.

Sacred Ground.....
Going ever higher still
Upon the path so faintly seen,
Beholding blazing shades of gold
Amongst the emerald green.
I found the ancient place,
The craggy peaks beneath the snow,
Where the wind will burn your face
And you begin to know......
That the eyes are there upon you,
And the spirits through the trees,
Look around in deepest wonder
As you fall upon your knees.
The souls of those before you
Surround you with their love,
With lessons learned in fields below,
Now in rest so high above.
So I took the ancient wisdom
Down the path where it was found
And used it well in times of need,
From that ancient sacred ground.

Immer höher steigend
Auf dem Pfad, der so schwach zu sehen ist,
Glühende Goldtöne erblickend
Inmitten des Smaragdgrüns.
Ich fand den alten Ort,
Die zerklüfteten Gipfel unter dem Schnee,
Wo der Wind dein Gesicht verbrennt
Und du beginnst zu wissen......
Dass die Augen dort auf dich gerichtet sind,
Und die Geister durch die Bäume,
Schau dich um in tiefstem Erstaunen
Während du auf deine Knie fällst.
Die Seelen derer, die vor dir waren
Umgeben dich mit ihrer Liebe,
Mit Lektionen, die du auf den Feldern unten gelernt hast,
Jetzt in der Ruhe so hoch oben.
So nahm ich die alte Weisheit
Auf den Pfad, wo sie gefunden wurde
Und nutzte sie in Zeiten der Not,

Memories

Involved in different local music associations with my clarinet  (in classic and jazzy mode) ,  I also  love to play the guitar, I love to try to create and produce music with Cubase and different other instruments at home. I love all forms of music.
