Deaf Dreamer was the first song Sebastian Ruiz wrote when he started making music in his adolesce. From what started as a bedroom recording project to now an official band, Deaf Dreamer comes out with "Pyramids", the lead single from the new up and coming EP titled " IT'S BETTER HERE THAN IN THE DARK " out September 22, 2023. 

What started as a conversation on the internet lead to the start of an actual live band. “ITS BETTER HERE THAN IN THE DARK” is an attempt to capture the start of the Deaf Dreamer live band and is an homage to a deep love/nostalgia that surrounds similar music taste amongst friends. The EP is a DIY home recording project done by Deaf Dreamer. Tracked in the basement of a 100 year old home in Portland, Oregon this EP marks the start of a new chapter in the group’s career. What once was a singular artist is now a tribe embarking on the start of their musical journey.
