The Metalheadz back catalogue features almost every major figure in the history of drum and bass, and is one of the most innovative labels out there, consistently crossing boundaries with its releases since 1994. The labels output continues to showcase a maturing genre of music that displays influences from reggae, hip-hop, house and techno with highly-sophisticated and intricately-produced tracks, contrary to the image of the music that is typically presented by the mass media.

Releasing music from some of the biggest names out there whilst at the same time pushing and letting new talent break through are the reasons why Metalheadz continues to stay at the forefront of electronic music.

The Metalheadz label was also the driving force behind the seminal Sunday Session Club Nights, which achieved legendary status at London's Blue Note club. Today, Metalheadz club nights are often sell outs with the label also regularly hosting stages at some of the biggest festivals across the world.

South Wales based producer / dj making all styles of drum and bass, ambient jungle, 140, trip hop, lo-fi and ambient downtempo.

Often referred to as the leading group in American drum and bass, Evol Intent released it's landmark LP "Era Of Diversion" to critical acclaim in the Spring of 2008, which explored more diverse musical styles as well as the usual DNB dancefloor smashers.  The various members of Evol Intent also have other projects much of the music community should be used to: from Knick's bass music madness as "Bro Safari" to the Enemy's electrofunk alter ego "Treasure Fingers" to Gigantor's electro-fied waveform warping as "Computer Club"

Hostage aka Adar Friedberg is a drum and bass producer and DJ currently based in Brooklyn, USA. He spent his high school years playing bass and drums for all sorts of silly bands. His young adult life was spent playing bass for noise and shoegazing bands, but after getting tired of fighting with people in rehearsal rooms - he moved on to working with a computer. Solo. During the 90s he got hooked on the darker sound of Dom, Grooverider and Source Direct, and started producing dark and heavy drum and bass himself. Music being such a large part of his life, studying audio engineering and working in the field - as his day job, is only natural.

Therapy was launched in 2003 after a general feeling that England’s capital was lacking a bit of the variety that drum and bass had to offer. Since the scene became much more international, and more varied, many people enjoying many genre's, supporters were also expressing a need for events catering to darker and more experimental sounds. Therapy’s aim was to provide both top UK talent midweek in ...a personal and warm atmosphere, as well as showcasing some of the best DJ’s and MC’s from all corners of the globe. Therapy Sessions host amazing line ups for a very reasonable price thanks to the generosity and support of the artists, other UK DJ agencies and labels!
