“Music That Saved Me” – Chapter 3

You *know* I had to go back to Chicago for this one. “Percolator” is pure DNA-level house music for me – the kind of track that sounded totally wrong the first time I heard it, and then quietly rewired my brain. That weird little loop, the drums, the swing… it’s like the blueprint for so much of the stuff I love.

“Cajmere – Percolator (Hard Mike Revisit)” is my 2025 spin on that feeling: tougher low-end, club-weighted drums, some extra arrangement tricks for modern systems, but still leaving all that hypnotic, jacking space that makes the original so addictive. It’s built for sweaty late-night moments when the crowd is already weird and you want to push it just a little further.

This is the **third entry** in my **“Music That Saved Me”** series – remixes of tunes that carried me through some heavy times and shaped how I hear dance music. If “Percolator” ever made you pull a stupid face on the dancefloor, I hope this version does it all over again. 💚

My musical style is an amalgamation of all the types of music I enjoy listening to, which is as varied as House, Trance, Techno, Pop, old school Hip hop and electro to Rock. I like to incorporate elements from any of the above into what I create or play. I do predominantly DJ and create various versions and sub genres of House, Trance and Techno.
Based in Wiltshire in the United Kingdom my love of Dance music started during the clubbing boom period of the mid to late 90's. As well as going to various clubs, I DJ’ing at clubs and bars across the UK during that time. I started making/producing music in the early 2000's and after a nearly 10 year hiatus I co created a track as one half of the production duo ‘Plimsoll Punishment’ called ‘Laserz’ which was played on the Kissy Sell Out show on Radio 1 in march 2009.
I stepped up my music production in 2020, consistently working on and releasing tracks since then, as of November 2025 music I have created has had over 86.4K streams on Soundcloud. I have also re started doing a few DJ gigs at bars, pubs and Festivals.
