Tresor Records announces the first-ever reissue of Drexciya’s 'Fusion Flats' 12” vinyl, including remixes from Detroit’s Octave One, Kaotic Spatial Rhythms and 043 Chaos. 

Originally released in the wake of Drexciya’s seminal 1999 Tresor debut album 'Neptune’s Lair', this release marks its long-awaited return and first appearance on digital platforms. The remastered edition contains the original extended version of Fusion Flats and features new artwork by Detroit-based contemporary artist Matthew Angelo Harrison, whose reimagined covers continue to shape the Drexciya reissue series. 

25 years later, Fusion Flats returns to the constellation of Drexciya’s Tresor works, connecting their debut full-length to further explorations that continue to inspire generations.

After a short break we're back with episode #62 of our Schimmer Podcast Series selected and mixed by Franz Jäger.

Franz is a long-time member of the collective, known for his minimal and groove-driven approach to techno. For this mix, he brings together mostly unreleased tracks from himself and friends, creating a seamless flow between hypnotic rhythms, subtle textures, and deep, driving grooves. For this 9th Special Mix Series I went for a bizarre ride of some weird and wonderful minimal that I would call "a little out of the ordinary" by some crazy artists that are really standing out from the crowd and established producers that never cease to impress me. The intention is to push the listener into new sounds, hear music that they might not normally get to hear and open some doors.

Also, there are plenty more Death Techno sets in the pipeline, the schedule is booked up until April 2013!
