Developer, one of LA’s known bright sparks, has long been a mainstay of the city’s booming techno community. His inspiration to the overall scene carries much weight, being a relentless producer and worldwide travelling DJ and live act with a high output of quality music. Reaching into far corners of experimentation, he consistently progresses his journey into outstanding sound design and interesting takes. Running the magnificent Modularz and Olympian record labels, he also lists contributions to Svreca’s Semantica, Kessell’s Granulart, Hans Bouffmyhre’s Sleaze and Christian Wünsch’s Tsunami Records, amongst others. C’est en 2013 que la DJ parisienne Minor Player est tombée amoureuse de la techno et de son univers, après une soirée passée dans le célèbre club danois Culture Box. Depuis lors, elle n’a cessé d’accroître ses connaissances en matière de musique techno. C’est donc en tant que véritable passionnée du courant New Wave et de ses sous-genres que Minor Player a rapidement développé une appétence pour l’EBM et ses artistes, tels que Mind / Matter, XTR Human, OTHR, Sarin ou Reka. Minor Player entend transporter son public dans l’ère post-industrielle des années 80 dont les sonorités froides et métalliques, mais incroyablement entraînantes nous transportent dans une ode au lâcher-prise à chacun de ses sets. Leur complexité envoutante l’a amené à rejoindre récemment le collectif Atrium.

Minor player débute une résidence sur Line Out Radio consacrée à son genre de prédilection, l'EBM ainsi que diverses variations techno, et aux artistes qui l’inspirent sur cette scène.

Our new outlet comes from DIB, Italian techno producer specialized on the deep side of techno. He
provides us with five cuts of precise and drilling outer space music its own signature.
Track one, Winmx 001.1 is an intense track, with a relentless hypnotic groove setting the pace, filled
with continuous sequences and occasional synth details that run flawlessly across a repetitive
arrangement.
Second cut, Winmx 001.2 completely changes the approach, this time more cybernetic and alien,
with sudden structure changes and sci-fi vocals. Absolutely martian.
Virtual B side and Winmx 001.3 comes in, going straight into outer territories on a proper futuristic
techno travel.
On Winmx 001.4 you can perceive some electro influences, a combination of robotic elements and
dense atmospheres.
Closing the release, Winmx 001.5 slows down the machine and dives deep into mental realms, using
pads over minimalistic rhythms spiced with bleeps and classic 909 hi hats, perfect for the first
moments on proper clubs out there.
