London-based Arnaud Le Texier is a veteran artist with a strong production pedigree, known for heading up the highly respected Children of Tomorrow label, as well as releasing on Ben Sims' Symbolism, Sven Väth's Cocoon, Slam's Soma, and Christian Wünsch's Tsunami Records.

Jay Clarke is also from London and runs the Blackaxon imprint while having his music found on labels like Ben Klock's Klockworks, Slam's Soma, and Coyu's Suara.

"Cosmic Particle" is a pacy and hypnotic trip with a distinctive dystopian feel amidst haunting, atmospheric features.

The second offering titled "Equinox" utilises electric textures and interesting sonic design over a thunderous beat with a brooding mood and dark elements.

Jay Clarke's remix of Equinox is a full throttle rework that results in a powerful, driving interpretation with its own raw character and ferocious attitude.

The closing original "Ray of Light" propels itself forward with a sinister fervour while using cyclical, chopping tones to create an engaging and cerebral experience.

Gracing Token with a 12” of reliable effect, Sterac (a.k.a. Steve Rachmad) offers 4 titles that go beyond the club - balancing raw Detroit influences and contemporary depth. With a reputation built on years of developing his scene through important record releases and local as well as international activity, ‘Light in the Darkness’ confirms Rachmad’s artistic relevance in a quickly developing scene. With a tone-setting introduction for the EP, Rachmad immediately grips the listener’s attention with the pragmatic yet nostalgic ‘Mangled’. Chord stabs inch away from a brutal on-beat drum sequence, a technique responsible for many hits in the genre, this time tastefully repolished through spreaded wooden percussion in direct support. ‘Mangled’ boasts what A1’s should - a worthy first impression - before luring us into what can be considered the apex of the EP. ‘Light in the Darkness’ claims the project title with a gradual exploration through celestial bodies. A minimal opening with a simple acid bassline shows a great deal of attitude before the listener gets caught in an unexpected tide of cosmic pads, dimensionalizing an initially linear record . With slow waves of rich synth work enveloping the only anchor to time that is rhythm, the result is a closed-eyed dance floor experience to be selected in prime conditions. Thick pads are immediately offered again, this time more orchestral than mental. The softness of this primary sound design is expertly dissected by a razor sharp resonant top synth and an upward drum construction, completing the spectrum of sound and unveiling a record with a size fit for warehouse capacities. Rachmad adds almost cinematic suspense to the EP with ‘S.O.’ - certainly not to be underestimated. This leads us to the project’s closer ‘Solidify’, a delirious club groover. With a sound as bent and confronting as a house of mirrors, Rachmad leaves us with a final chapter to keep the heart racing past the end.

Felipe Párraga aka Saurio is an emerging artist from Bogotá, Colombia who returns to DEAD CERT. with a four-track EP following outstanding VA appearances that included hypnotic trips such as "Cheap Metaphysics" and "Algerian." His music has also been featured on labels like Bruno Ledesma's Concepto Hipnotico, Syrte aka Stefan Weise's Science Cult, Diffuse Reality, Warok Music, Korpus 9, Parabola and more.

Opening with "The Nocturn," the abstract sound design is as bizarre as it is catchy and tense all at once. Setting an unmistakable mood of creativity and function, this crazy weapon is ready to melt all corners of the dance floor.

"Ethereal Boundaries" presents a more delicate and hypnotic approach. Using quirky, tribal percussion and shimmering notes around droning elements and a chugging bassline it has an engrossing, dystopian aesthetic.

The third of four tracks launches straight into a raw, thundering groove on "Reptoid Moon." A volatile and intense juggernaut that captivates the mind with its slicing, mechanical and modular groans creating a moody, mesmerising vibe.

Closing with "Corrupted Light" and its ripping style made of powerful rhythms, this sonic tapestry is avant-garde as well as purist. Phasing and sweeping foundations add a dark, sci-fi feeling alongside cyclical elements for tremendous impact.

Next up on Luke Slater's Mote-Evolver is Primal Instinct co-founder Chlär with the 'Topography' EP. It follows his debut album, 'The Architects of Shadows', which came out on Primal Instinct at the tail end of 2024, and sees the Swiss-bom, Germany-based artist deliver four more tracks of unmistakable, dance-floor-primed Chlär sound.

Chlär's 'Topography' EP embraces Mote-Evolver's tradition of deeper groove Techno with finesse, seeing 'Altitude' kick off proceedings as a heads-down slice of hypnotism featuring can't-miss Techno rhythm while otherworldly creatures add to the atmosphere. 'Serac' then delves even further, its effective bassline welded together with subtle sequences before we flip the record around for 'Lamin', a track rife with ghostly dub chords and remnants of a vocal sample. Closing out the trip is 'Phantom Grid', a clap riding its groove as it builds the intensity, dropping the pressure with hammering kickdrums and excellent, warped percussion for another lose-yourself club offering from the ever-promising Chlär.

Jeroen Search is a well-known producer from the Netherlands, and has produced music for top labels including Jeff Mills' Axis, Kr!z's Token, Ben Sims' Symbolism, and Len Faki's Figure.
