Swiss outfit Adroit are set to release the next chapter of their recent VA series titled Archive III Part Two that includes eight underground tracks including ANNĒ, Lyric, KaioBarssalos, GEAN, Antidote MT, Hanubis, Dan Whyte.

Lausanne-based Matthieu Benjamin contributed a stand out for us in this dense package and we expect to hear more great things in the near future as he has remixed the likes of Jay Clarke on Blackaxon and runs his own imprint Temporal Variation.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Tension” that has a raw and dystopian sound. Using hypnotic textures to create a storm like atmosphere with pulsing, electrified stabs and a double kick pattern, this is a creative and fully functional contemporary creation.

Sven Breitkopf hatte bereits seine ersten Vinyls in der Hand, da waren Platten noch die üblichen Tonträger zuhause. Sein Vater weckte in ihm die Liebe zur Musik. Mit 16 nahm er dann eigene Mixtapes auf. Über Jahre orientierte er sich an elektronischer Tanzmusik und wagte den Sprung vom Floor an die Decks. Die Grundlagen des Mixens brachte ihm ein guter Freund bei. Als die wichtigsten Handgriffe saßen, legte er schon bald in Clubs wie DeKachel (NL), BERKS und der Klickboutique auf. 

Sven Breitkopf war zwischendurch auf einigen Net-Radios zu hören und spielte in den kommenden Jahren im Diamonds Club in Essen, dem Parkhouse und dem Poison in Düsseldorf, und dem legendären Club Napoleon in Aachen. Manch einer kennt ihn vielleicht auch vom Elektrobad in Ruhrberg oder der Aachener Drachenwiese. 

Aktuell hört man Sven Breitkopf regelmäßig in der Tagedieb Radioshow jeden zweiten Samstag im Monat auf 674.fm und im Kölner Odonien.
