Slovenian label Cogo are about to drop their highly anticipated sophomore release. Welcomed to the roster on the new vinyl package titled VA.01 are Ukranian Stanislav Tolkachev, Inigo Kennedy, Samuli Kemppi, and label co-owner Tonske returning.

Inigo Kennedy is one of the UK’s most revered techno artists having crafted an outstanding sound as far back as 1996. His seminal releases on the likes of Tim Taylor’s Missile and Kr!z’s Token alongside a multitude on his own Asymmetric imprint, cement his new music as essential listening.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the Inigo Kennedy track titled “Lucid” that focuses on a sci-fi atmosphere. Bleeping, modular tones and additional layers create a hypnotic groove that captivates with perfect blend of tension and analogue knob-twiddling.

In just a few of years of operation Mitsubasa has been releasing vinyl and digital EPs featuring artists like Rove Ranger and Specific Objects, already proving it’s a label with an educated ear. Standing for “three-wings” meaning soul, heart and mind the newest release MTB005 is yet another exciting entry to their catalogue featuring more great talent like Benales, Zadig, Tsuyoshi Ogawa and Gerald VDH.

Zadig is a Paris-based artist who is known for his influential vinyl only sets and having made appearances on Tresor, Oscar Mulero’s PoleGroup, DJ Deep’s Deeply Rooted, Arnaud Le Texier’s Children of Tomorrow and his own imprint Construct Re-Form.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Atlantic12” with a raw and punchy groove. The rolling, detuned modular tones expand and contract to create a constant building tension while highlights arrive by clutters of claps and bubbling textures to create a heady jam.

Concrete Records is an Italian label based in Rome and has seen contributions from Voices From the Lake, Minilogue, Svreca, Tensal, Echologist aka Brendon Moeller and Cassegrain, and many more, with many releases gaining multiple represses.

Dino Sabatini is an artist who has released on Lucy’s Stroboscopic Artefacts, Adam X’s Sonic Groove, Prologue and Delsin as well as collaborating with Edit Select and running his own label Outis Music.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Baubaus” is a bleeping, hypnotic trip. The subtle, dub techno tones and winding modular sonics paint a dystopian picture told with a delicate emotional and electronic character.

Rebekah returns to Soma for her latest EP titled The Bitter Boys Club, following appearances on Bas Mooy’s Mord, Developer’s Modularz and Adam X’s Sonic Groove.

With a sound that’s developed into shear toughness, she has forged a following of fans that love her choice of standout driving and dark beats. The tracks here have thundering and slicing percussion wrapped in a depth of industrial shapes and sizes. Eerie vibes of unnerving pitch-bending to distorted elephant trumpets, expect to be surprised by the inventive creations within these hard productions.

For this DT:Premiere we selected title track “The Bitter Boys Club” that focuses the undercurrent on a relentless kick and clap combo that rarely subsides. Setting it up perfectly, the main hook soon shows itself with a grinding, dirty synth that tears out the speakers with absolute ferocity.

Teksupport is a label and events brand based in Brooklyn, New York that has already released music by Markus Suckut, Andre Kronert, Mike Dehnert and Steve Parker amongst others.

Welcomed to the project is homegrown talent Mink who before this EP has featured on a various artist compilation for the excellent On Edge Society imprint and has impressed enough to land three original tracks while being accompanied with a remix by P.Leone who is known for collaborating with Dustin Zahn or his remixes on Radio Slave’s Rekids, Ellen Allien’s BPitch and Spencer Parker’s Work Them.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Clone” that’s a raw, stripped back groover from the off. Punchy and spaced-out, its acid-fuelled licks and shuffling hats expand with intensity creating some assuredly satisfying crescendo moments tailor made for working the dance floor.
