Razmik Makhsudyan, born in Yerevan, began exploring techno in 2010. After honing his skills as a DJ, he took his first steps as a producer and, in 2016, launched his live alias, Tøtal, showcasing the heavier, darker side of techno. In 2017, he founded his own label, Death Bell Records, and by 2019, he brought his sound to Boiler Room Yerevan, sharing his music with a wider audience.

Pioneering Kosovan techno artist Vegim's most recent label, Alhena, has included up-and-coming artists like DSNGDMANN, Lorenzo Fasano, and KNTZ.

Nicko Shuo is making all the right moves releasing on Vegim's main label TMMR, as well as Dani Sbert's imprint, Ket Robinson's KR Records, Luca Maniaci's Mind Games, Paula Cazenave's Combine Audio, Dosis and Death Bell, amongst others.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Don't You Dare Mock Me" that has a commanding presence straight off. Cyclical modular textures of electric-like thunder present a certain doom and dystopian soundscape, as it blends a gritty club-focused sound with thought-provoking contemporary sound design.
