Sciahri and his label Sublunar are thrilled to present "VEIL OF ECHOES," a new project that brings together both emerging and established talents from the label. The journey begins with "IIum" by Temudo, an entrancing track with hypnotic synths that seamlessly transitions into Troy's "Awakening," featuring an irresistible and cerebral groove. Neel takes over with "Follow Me," pushing the boundaries with intricate sound design crafted to move your body, followed by Marcal's "Ancient Swing," renowned for its unique sound and processed vocals. With the comeback of his moniker, Polyvinyl, UMEK goes back to his hardgroove origins. In addition, he is starting a new record label called 1605 GrooveSector, which will specialise in raw techno and hardgroove.

Slovenian-born UMEK has a career that dates back to the 1990s, when he was among the musicians that helped create and pioneer the first hardgroove movement. His iconic Recycled Loops project produced a number of groundbreaking songs that shaped the modern genre.

UMEK’s music has changed throughout the course of his three-decade career to reflect contemporary styles, and he has continued to be one of the most significant techno artists. His career is coming full circle with the return of the Polyvinyl pseudonym, and he is once again embracing the improvisational production style that once brought him international recognition.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the title track “Mechanically Intensive” with a rolling bassline and filtered percussion. Jerking synth stabs are added to boost the offbeat energy, but it’s the timeless, tribal and schranz-like rhythms that create the throwback, dance floor burning sound.

Voices From the Lake, Minilogue, Svreca, Tensal, Echologist (Brendon Moeller), Cassegrain, and many others have contributed to the Rome-based label Concrete Records. The limited vinyl offshoot has had many releases have been repressed due to their demand, and there is a sense that the newest EP Low Mileage may follow suit.

Featuring one of the prominent figures in the Finnish techno scene, Samuli Kemppi has released his music on quality labels like Berghain’s Ostgut Ton, Luke Slater’s Mote Evolver, Arnaud Le Texier’s Children of Tomorrow, Lewis Fautzi’s Faut Section, and the renowned M_REC LTD founded by the late Max_M. He is also the co-host of the esteemed radio program Deep Space Helsinki with Juho Kusti which has run for more than 15 years.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the first track “Looking for a Way Out” with its gritty and raw sound. Bubbling modular elements are met with fizzing percussion that create waves of analogue distortion and tension that can be rarely matched.

Jeroen Search is a well-known producer from the Netherlands, and has produced music for top labels including Jeff Mills' Axis, Kr!z's Token, Ben Sims' Symbolism, and Len Faki's Figure.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Primitive Notion" with a cyclical modular riff that expands and contracts throughout. The throbbing bassline adds punch and a steady groove while classic 909 hits have a timeless touch, alll coming together for the right amount of hypnotic pressure.

BlackGummy is the creation of Los Angeles-based producer Iman Marouf, who
discovered the mysterious entity known as BlackGummy during a transformative
journey in 2013. This encounter sparked a unique fusion of identities, driving
BlackGummy’s obsessive quest for mastery in sound design and music production. Under the mentorship of renowned producer Steve Duda, Iman also contributed to the development of the legendary synthesizer Serum, adding to his growing reputation for forward-thinking sound design and music production.

In 2015, mau5trap quickly recognized BlackGummy’s unique prowess and released his first original track, “Lullaby,” followed by the critically acclaimed Singularity EP in 2016. This release set the tone for BlackGummy’s dark, cinematic sound and led to a trilogy of EPs — including Impactor and Monolith — each exploring profound themes and earning praise from industry giants.

Following his own headline tour and standout performances at festivals such as EDC Las Vegas, EDC Mexico, EDC Guangdong, Lollapalooza, BUKU Music + Art Project, and Shambhala — among many others — BlackGummy continues to push the boundaries of electronic music.

ambitious body of work yet — a project larger in scope than all three EPs combined, and his most expansive concept to date. This new era launched with a headline show at Sound for the We Are Friends event and a direct support slot for deadmau5 in London. Entering a new chapter, BlackGummy is preparing to unveil his long-awaited debut album, set to begin rolling out on mau5trap starting August 22, 2025, with the full release arriving later this year.

Now presenting a joint LP release with Oscar Mulero titled 'Il Poema,' this follows four albums already in just three years.

Pyramidal Decode lists prestigious appearances on labels including Jeff Mills' Axis, Oscar Mulero's Warm Up, Bas Mooy's Mord, and Svreca's Semantica, among many other significant techno imprints as he continues to explore his trippy, cerbral sound.

Assembling a choir of all the people that they have loved and admired in their local scene (Oscar Key Sung, Monte Morgan (Client Liaison), Bec from The Harpoons, HABITS, Pillow Pro and so many more!), Ed and Jack have delivered the type of number that champions unity and a shared sense of eternal wonder for the future! 

For remixes we have Mike Simonetti (Horse Meat Disco) delivering a dark acid heavy late night techno jam, DJ Seinfeld who eschews the hook altogether for a fun lo-fi belter, and Australian newcomers The Nights with a lusciously pulsating melodic mover.
