The Cherry Bluestorms are a psych-Mod band from Los Angeles that deliver unforgettable guitar hooks and groovy vocal harmonies.

Raised in Mineral Wells, Texas, Deborah Gee moved to Los Angeles and began performing in the mid1990s at local music spots including The Troubadour, Molly Malone’s and Genghis Cohen.  She was spotted by Alan Myers (Devo) at her second L.A. gig and Myers signed on as drummer.  Gee signed a demo deal with A&M Records and released her album PORTAL in 2000.  Gee wrote or co-wrote all of the songs.  The roster of producers on the album is a music industry Who’s Who including Mike Clink, Tal Herzberg, Michael Woodrum, Chris Lord-Alge, CJ De Villar and Jon Ingoldsby.  Songs from PORTAL were placed in films and television shows*, notably “Pearl”, which was placed in the films “Between the Sheets” and “The Smokers”.   
In 2001, Gee met ex-Dickies guitarist/producer Glen Laughlin at a coffeehouse.  She was looking for a new guitarist for her band, and the two began performing together and working on what was initially intended to be her second solo album.  After meeting drummer Ryan Brown at a party, the three formed The Pawn Hearts, later re-named The Cherry Bluestorms.  The trio was spotted by a promoter at their first performance in Los Angeles, and as a result their second performance was at a festival in New Hampshire.   
The Cherry Bluestorms’ debut album, TRANSIT OF VENUS, was released on June 1, 2007.  The band’s sophomore record BAD PENNY OPERA was a concept album released in March 2013.  BAD PENNY OPERA is set in 1960s Britain, and tells the story of a young woman embarking on a journey to find herself.  The band has performed widely in U.S. as well as Toronto, Ontario, London, UK and the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, birthplace of The Beatles.  “Violent Heart” from TOV and “A True Heart Wears a Thorny Crown” from BPO were placed in television shows*.  In late 2017/early 2018, “Risk” from Gee’s album PORTAL saw a resurgence in overseas airplay, being heard across Japan and England. Gee and Laughlin are currently in the studio completing work on their third album, WHIRLIGIG, and Gee is working on her second solo release, GEEOLOGY, with Laughlin co-producing.

The Blue Dolphins are a Los Angeles-based songwriting duo composed of singer/songwriter Victoria C. Scott and four-time Grammy Award-winning producer/engineer Alfonso G. Rodenas.

Characterized by beautiful melodies, tight harmonies and an uplifting positive mood, their musical style embraces Folk, Pop and Rootsy Rock with a unique timeless quality.

The duo write in a commercial style both natural and unpretentious, attracting a wide range of listeners with its universal themes and laid-back charm. Their music also has a special appeal with modern adult audiences (AAA).

The band’s debut acoustic album, My Favorite Word Is Today (2012), was followed by the EP In Between (2013). In May of 2015 they released an EP titled Walking in the Sun and this was an advance of their full length album Come On! released in September of 2015. The duo have also released a number of eclectic independent singles.

Victoria grew up outside of London, England, fascinated by her father's collection of Elvis Presley, Fats Domino, Little Richard and Rolling Stones records. After learning to play the recorder, piano and guitar, Scott had also taught herself to sing by the age of 12, emulating the various styles of Carole King, Nina Simone, N'Dea Davenport and Aretha Franklin.

Alfonso Rodenas is a four-time Grammy-award winning sound engineer from Spain. His music career began as a bassist in the indie pop-rock band Vitamin Vil in Valencia, Spain, and has since spanned 30 years, the last 17 of which have seen him work as a freelance producer, recording and mixing engineer in Los Angeles, CA.

Victoria and Alfonso met fatefully at the legendary rock pit "The Cat Club" on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles and soon started playing and recording together. Their debut album, 2012’s My Favorite Word Is Today, is a soulful blend of Indie, Folk/Rock and Bossa Nova. Simple and unfettered, they kept their focus on acoustic instruments, stripped down production and emotionally honest vocals. Critics hailed the album. Pamela Des Barres, author of "I'm with the Band", said the “album’s sentiments touched my heart" and described Victoria’s voice as “just gorgeous".

2013’s In Between EP grouped songs recorded by the band between its two major works to date. It shows the musical couple departing from its original acoustic sound into an unmapped new music landscape, full of emergent future possibilities.

In 2014 the duo started work on a collection of new songs, 14 of which saw light in their most recently released album Come On!. The album is a major push forward for the band toward a more complex and fully produced music scenario, where sonic aesthetics and songwriting are richer and more varied, departing from the pared-down premises and acoustic songs that characterized their first work. Come On! embraces Folk, Pop and Rootsy Rock with the duo’s characteristic optimism and charm. The album was released in September 2015.

In 2016 and '17, whilst promoting their album Come On! The Blue Dolphins started work on new songs for their next release, which was successfully funded on Kickstarter in 2018. The new recordings were partially released as a succession of singles in 2019, with the album coming out in 2020. 

The Blue Dolphins play to fan bases in the US, UK, Spain and Mexico.

We believe in helping others in the face of corrupt laws and a broken system. We are pro democracy, green energy and free speech.

We're politically liberal. We cannot support the republicans, maga or gun violence in the usa. We don't see there's any real difference, other than in name, between the christian far right in the USA and the taliban in Afghanistan.

In the uk we are broadly pro LibDem/Green/Labour/SNP. We are VERY anti-tory, bnp, ukip, and any of their friends and associates. We have no trust at all in the uk right wing press monopoly and the bbc. Beware the bbc and its claims of neutrality. It is the propaganda mouthpiece of the tory party. It even charges a propaganda tax called the licence fee. But we like Test Match Special and Radio 6, so does that make us hypocrites...? Hmm.

We support independence for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Cornwall. We support the individual and the underdog. We are anti-putin and his war, and pro-Ukraine.
