I've been playing the flute since the age of 10, and I went on to earn my masters degree in Flute Performance from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music.

I discovered the Native American Flute while traveling across the country with my husband, during a stop we made in Boulder, CO.  As soon as I played a few notes, I was fascinated and completely hooked. From then on, during our many trips throughout the southwestern desert, I would sit by the campfire and play whatever came to me while my husband star-gazed with his telescope.

My first CD of Native American Flute music came together surprisingly quickly – our crew convened at Mount Wilson Observatory in California on the evening in November 2014 and we went to work. The result is the one-hour CD: “Under the Stars” and its digital companion of out-takes: "Under the Stars, Too!" which capture the sense of wonder I feel when looking into the night sky.
