There is a small cut in the track from a native hopi elder speech recording.. . The conclusion at the end is: "Mother earth is reacting to our abuses".

This is a project we did with Nolan Warden from the Ethnomusicology department of UCLA. The samples were taken from a wax cylinder that was recorded in the 1930's. This was particularly cool project because DJ Shub's last name is General and so is the man recorded on the cylinder.  They're also both Cayuga from Six Nations reserve, so it's not too far off to think that they're related, hence the name "General Generations".  Here's a link to UCLA's Ethnomusicology post.

Native American Flute with Tibetan Bowls (2hz Binaural Beat).  This track is based on an F# tone (at a=432hz tuning) for activating the heart chakra.  The flute was made by Coyote Oldman.

Binaural beats are a way of synchronizing your brain waves (which are measured in hertz) with the hertz of the binaural beat. The brain has a frequency following response which causes this to occur. These can help induce states of relaxation, meditation and help to relieve anxiety and stressed out states. This works best with headphones because binaural beats are panned hard left and right which forces the brain to synchronize the two tones.

here's a basic rundown of the brains states:

Beta - 30hz-13hz - your normal awake state, in higher ranges or above 30hz you may be experiencing stress. In this case, you gotta chill!

Alpha - 13z-8hz - a relaxed and reflective state

Theta - 8hz-4hz - a very meditative state or getting drowsy and drifting off, if your sleepy)

Delta - 4hz and below - deep sleep or a very deep meditative state. Buddhist Monk's brainwaves have been measured in this state during meditation.

"Wind Dance Under the Moon" is the latest solo CD from Mexican and Native American Flute player David Rose, a solo artist and former member of Painted Raven. “Wind Dance Under the Moon” is a 12 song journey of improvisational pieces from the heart of duets, drones, and single flute. "Heart of the Wind," a drone piece was inspired from the winds of the desert in Arizona. "Emerald Pool" was inspired by David’s trip to Zion National Park after seeing the emerald pools while on a hike through the park. "Whisper in the Wind" is a self duet that he enjoys playing to capture the ethereal sound of two flutes playing together. The songs are all inspired from his many years of travel through the southwest of the United States.
