After signing his first record deal in 2003 at the age of 22, Chris began a career as a producer and performer that saw him tour around the world in places like Tokyo, Turkey, Shanghai, Prague and the UK. He then released his first album, ‘No Surrender’, and had a three year DJ residency at London’s renowned Electronic Sessions.

Since his comeback in 2018 he has released '200 Hz' on Precinct and remixed Jan Johnston and Ariscan for Solar Storm and Lost Language, and his new record label, Vector Space Recordings, is about to launch. 

Chris' releases have received support from Sasha, Nick Warren, John Digweed, Paul Van Dyk, Hybrid, Jody Wisternoff, Anthony Pappa, Hernan Cattaneo, Quivver, Sander Kleinenberg, Slacker and more.

Biography: 
He started his musical journey as a DJ in 1998 playing in clandestine gigs, driven by success in the independent music circle, he continued uprising his level playing in various Clubs in Mexico City such as Rioma, AM, Bar Fly, Cream, Cafeina, Noite Club, Elite, Dreams, Distrito Club Condesa, F3.0, La Terraza Zocalo, Bleu Club, and in some festivals, acquiring their style with a large amount of substance and infinite atmosphere, transmitting good vibes in their presentations.

In 2010 he made his first release on the We Are Here record label by the renowned producer Tini Tun, and thanks to his help he made his way in his career as a producer, having releases on the labels In4mation Records, StrippedMuzikClub, Light Digital, Voodoo & Prayers, his music has had the support of various artists such as Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Sandra Collins and many more.

At the end of 2010, he performed a Bootleg Remix to the success track "Ask Yourself" from "Plastikman" (Richie Hawtin), and after I being contacted by the manager of the Minus label, asking me for the remix to put on his record label, signing a contract, being included for digital download in Bootleg BOX SET (2011) PLASTIKMAN Arkives 1993-2010, and later on digital platforms.

We are a collective of professional marketing managers, print & web designers, recording artists, journalists, label owners, DJs, social media marketers, event promoters, music publishers and more. It is a labour of love for us, it is a passion that runs deep, a feeling of taking back control of an industry we love and so heavily invest in with our own personal lives. www.vectorspace.club // Vector Space Recordings is an eclectic new record label based in London (UK) focusing on melodic techno, organic house, progressive and breaks, with an open-minded music policy.  Set up by @chrissalt in 2020 to push exciting new talent alongside music from more established artists, and as the main outlet for his projects, the label aims to get great new music out into the world.

The label’s launch release, Vector Space, received some serious A-list support from Solomun (Global Underground, Diynamic), Luigi Madonna (Drumcode), Richie Blacker (Last Night On Earth, GU), Kiz Pattison (Renaissance), Lonya (Selador), Kadosh (Watergate), Chris Fortier (Bedrock, Fade), Pete Tong (Radio 1), Nicolas Rada (Soundgarden), Lexicon Avenue (Renaissance, Yoshitoshi, SAW) and Alex Nemec (ICONYC, Krafted) – and a premiere from Decoded Magazine.

Since then we've welcomed some fantastic artists to the label: Pako & Frederik, Audioglider and Carlos Pashe, with breakthrough artists Xango and Uvilak lined up for the 2021 release schedule.   The label’s releases have received further heavy-hitting support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Dubfire, BLANCAh, Nick Muir, Richie Hawtin, Anthony Pappa, Issac, Nigel Dawson and more.

The record label went from idea to reality after the new subtleties of the new music business became clear. The name ties back to Chris’ time studying mathematics at uni, which is where he played his first DJ set before signing a record contract and playing international gigs from Tokyo and Shanghai to Istanbul, Amsterdam, London and New York. Vector Space Recordings will showcase musical talent from around the world and across different genres.
