As days go by and the wait for the new full length Pan-Pot album 'The Other' grows shorter and shorter, it's time to temper the restlessness again with two more meticulously selected tracks from the forth coming long player.

The cleverly titled 'Fist Bump From Destiny' is a story of patience with huge payoffs. At nearly 10 minutes, it's a long ride that builds slowly as persistent and hypnotizing tones circle and stalk, continually growing into the semblance of a cosmic clock. As the concept of time seems to disappear, the reward reveals itself: a fist bump from destiny.

'Operator' parallels the story of a tenacious vessel navigating a course through an impenetrable fog during the darkest shade of night. Low menacing rumbles and short sonic blasts serve as bold displays of position while a perpetually rising synth provides the momentum it employs to advance into the dark.

The highly creative, Paris-based, Romanian electronic music composer and DJ, BOg, returns to Bedrock again with his dynamic 3-Track ‘Moonlight EP’. The EP’s title track and ‘0901’ are also highlights on the 67 track 5xCD  ‘John Digweed – Live In Brooklyn, Output NYC’, the forthcoming 9th edition of the much-lauded mix series.

With the ‘Moonlight EP’, BOg is raising his creative bar ever upwards, each of this trio of new musical masterpieces showcasing his unique talent. The instantly addictive melodic groove and sparkling energy of ‘Moonlight’ shows exactly what the young Romanian is capable of, with its hypnotic subtlety. ‘Eternal’ ups the energy quotient with its powerful groove and increasingly twisted arrangement and the spirited end result is no less enthralling. Finally, rounding off the package in style comes ‘0901’, introducing a deeper shade of darkness and warped funk into the proceedings, a combination that is sure to turn heads everywhere.

Having been deeply passionate about music since childhood, BOg has risen to his current prominence through releases on the likes of Crosstown Rebels and Alex Niggemann’s Soulfooled label, in addition his regular Bedrock outings. At the end of March he will also release a track on the new ‘Secret Weapons’ (Innervisions) compilation album. His DJing skills have recently seen BOg perform alongside John Digweed and Eagles & Butterflies at Mexico’s BPM Festival, and he also will support John at his forthcoming show in Bucharest at Kristal Glam Club. This summer BOg will grace the decks at the Electric Castle Festival (Romania) alongside Dixon, Ame, DJ Sneak, and other scene luminaries. A young man to keep an eye on perhaps?

Artbat combo is composed by Artur & Vitalli, two ukranian artists whom are doing great and unique electronic music. Maybe you know them by 'Uplift', the track they did together with Rafael Cerato released on Diynamic, but in this debut release on Suara they show their musical palette in three amazing original tracks. 'Trip' has potential to be the track of the night if you play it in the right moment, magic breakdown. 'Knup' reminds of old progressive house tracks with a 21st century feeling and 'Wall' is for powerful sets, a track leaded by a mental arpeggio ready to burn your brain. For remix duties we count on Simon Baker under his nickname B.K.R. with a fat bassline remix of 'Wall' and the mighty Lauer take us to the EBM golden days with an industrial post-punk influenced version of the same track. One of the most mature Suara’s releases over the last months.

Occassional duo Pjotr G & Dubiosity have become household PRRUK names within short time. A couple of months after the well received ''A Man Is No Island EP'' a new submission to the ever extended PRRUKBLK catalog was provided in the form of ''Savant'' a 4 track spanning work of staggering techno with the significant filmic elements that Pjotr G and Dubiosity cleverly incorporate into their hazy works of techno. Whereas the A side is based on these elements, on the B side darker elements are introduced. ''Savant'' is a ferm but uplifting techno record.

DC175 comes courtesy of Alias, a new project comprising of Harvey & Ryan McKay, who are two acts who have previously released solo material on the label. Harvey McKay’s last appearance was in late 2016 when he dropped ‘The Mad Drummer’ on A-Sides Vol. 4 whereas Ryan McKay’s last outing was in 2015 when he appeared on A-Sides Vol.3 under the name Skiver. This is the first collaborative project between the Scottish duo under their new moniker Alias.

The EP opens with ‘Pentatonic’; A tough sounding track that has been designed for the forward-thinkers. ‘The Truth’ follows up sharply, with vintage piano stabs and a vocal that gives the track abounding energy. The on-point percussion leads you on a trip of pure rapture. The release closes with the apocalyptic ‘Dream Taker’, which is teeming with sinister vocal action, hostile synth work and a sublime way to sign off.

ELEVATE – a label started by one of the best loved techno duos of the moment Pig&Dan, focuses on releasing music to make the listener feel just that – ‘elevated’. Since its inception in 2012, its seen a stream of hits climb the Beatport charts, featuring artists including Amelie Lens, Monika Kruse, Christian Smith, Julian Jeweil and Matador among many others.

Its 75th release comes from none other than the label bosses themselves, marking Pig&Dan’s 7th solo EP on the label.

Kicking things off, the title track “Starting Again” has a slamming kick and crisp shaker shuffle that sets the pace. It's a driving cut designed for an intense dancefloor experience. The vocals and synth collaborate effortlessly, delivering a subtle but beautiful breakdown.

Deep in those morning hours “A.M.” brings a dark abyss like track with a haunting synth pattern coupled by a bellowing horn. Both dominate the soundscape as vocal echoes escape into the mix.

Modulating low end and funked out percussion stabs roll through “In My Mind”, the filtered vocal leaks delicately in and out of the darkness, whilst the hook emerges in satisfying ooze like form.

Fast pace, old school techno inspiration comes in the form of “Obsession” to close out the EP. It comes at you with bump and swing. It’s got simple but super catchy vocals, rolling between that rhythmic peak time groove.

Lopezhouse, the Spanish duo of David Lopez and Carlos Cruz from La Mancha has been steadily gaining respect since they debut on Claude VonStroke’s Dirtybird label in 2015. Their melody rich deeply creative sound, often combined with sultry vocals courtesy of Angela Sevilla Marquez, has graced the Kittball, Plattenbank, Exploited, and Diynamic labels, and they first came to the attention of Bedrock fans when John Digweed included Guy J’s excellent dub remix of ‘Crosses & Angels’ on his recent ‘Live in Brooklyn’ opus.

The Spanish duo’s esoteric, organic attitude shines through ‘November Clouds’, where a sparsely arranged, hip-swinging brooding groove is overlaid with subtle melodic flourishes and lever use of controlled feedback motifs. ‘Otsaila’ continues to plough a similarly deep furrow, as the electronic overlays take the track on a more intense, glitchy, experimental trip with elongated breakdowns and twists galore. As creative reference points think the likes of LCD Soundsystem and Depeche Mode. The Lopezhouse sound is vibrant, distinctive and different, and Bedrock is always committed to introducing its audience to interesting experimentalists of the highest order.

A rolling, drum-drenched groove with Lawler’s late-night signature scorched into every teasing drum fill and layered vocal texture, it’s peak after peak as we charge deep into the dance, driven by the infectious off-beat bass and consistent snare rattle. File under heads-down danger and keep it in that file for entire summer.  
Remix-wise it would be rude not to ask a French artist to add their twist to ‘Par Amour’ and Lawler’s invited the perfect man for the job. Switching Steve’s tight weaves of percussion to his signature slink and jack arrangement, fellow groove veteran Chris Carrier completely flips the construction while maintaining the persistent vocal loop and bubbling bass bounces. After a string of solid releases and his ABGT guest mix, we asked Canadian producer Dezza to give his spin on 'Sea To Sky'. Keeping it deep and proggy, Dezza has added a melodic twist to the tune with his signature soaring leads and a warm, bouncing bassline, perfect for setting the mood in a warm-up DJ set.

Next, we welcome back San Francisco's Skylane to ESR after their recent 'Polaris/Orion EP' hit #1 on Beatport's Trance Releases chart. Giving 'Sea To Sky' a bit of a turbo boost, Skylane's remix brings some serious heat to the dance floor with yet another monster bassline, epic  supersaw drop and perfectly woven piano throughout the track

Tale Of Us present a new collaboration with Vaal for the sixth release on their Afterlife label. Three years after they teamed up for ‘Concur’ and began to tour together, the trio return with their most anthemic offering yet. Vaal’s hauntingly-beautiful and instantly-recognisable vocals are the centre-piece on ‘Monument’, building on the style of her Wander To Hell EP (AL002). The drums and shimmering synth lines are moody and uplifting in the way Tale Of Us have made their own, arranged perfectly for the psychedelic breakthrough.

On the flip side, ‘The Hangar’ takes a different approach to equally devastating effect. It pumps with added urgency and a thunderous, steely bassline lunges out from the low-end. Designed for large soundsystems and big rooms, ‘The Hangar’ finds Tale Of Us and Vaal at their most direct and it’s something to behold.

Barnt and Stephan Bodzin, two artists whose stand-out performances at recent Afterlife events have made them firm favourites with the crowds, are tapped for the remixes (AL007). They both take on ‘Monument’, Barnt opting for a rolling, percussive direction and Bodzin more ethereal and transportive.

To celebrate our 200th release, the fourth installment of the “Stil vor Talent Berlin” compilation series brings forth a group of old and new faces, who exclusively contributed unreleased tracks, gathered under the umbrella of Berlin's metaphorical aorta.

Alexanderplatz – or more specifically, its TV tower the 'Fernsehturm' – is one of the city's most iconic spots, bustling with locals and tourists alike. A stroll through its subjacent U-Bahn station exemplifies Berlin's multitude and diversity like no other place in the city.

As always, music is the common denominator and Oliver Koletzki delivers the perfect soundtrack with this new release, while Chrisse Kunst renders the visual.

For our 20th release, we invited Belarus-based Mikhail Akulich, better known as Michael A, to make his Juicebox Music debut. Ever since his first introduction in 2012, Michael’s music has been constantly evolving and appreciated with a distinct style that he’s honed to the core. His music has been widely revered & supported, earning him appearances on Cid Inc’s “Replug”, Tone Depth’s “Bad Pony”, Hernan Cattaneo’s “Sudbeat” as well as being an active force on his own label “Genesis”.
