This song was made for a challenge based on a image. This time, the image was a Japanese Shinto shrine (神社) so I attempted to make something similar to Kagura (神楽), the music you would hear at a shrine. I have used traditional Japanese instruments such as the taiko (太鼓) and shamisen (三味線) and tried made it to sound like a performance.

Possibly the last song I have space to upload.  At the request of Dayz N' Daze I did another cover.  Please check out my bandcamp @ https://deadecay.bandcamp.com/ .  I use Dea Decay or Dea Siculus on most Social Media and music sites.  You can also find me on Spotify.  I will consider upgrading to Pro if I can make enough from my music but bandcamp is really the best place to find my work and continue to support me. Pyramide (Dea Decay and MetuSynth)

NB trans girl from NY now Tampa.  I play synths and drum machines.  Anything you hear on here was either done with my software or hardware synths, occasionally using samples.  

Inspired to play synths by sci-fi sound tracks and other trans women I'm friends with who play.  I share a birthday with Wendy Carlos so I guess it was in the stars?  Trans girl, into synths & making electronic music.  Apart from soundtracks most of my inspiration comes from cold wave, darkwave, post punk, synthwave, low-fi, gothic & punk music.  

If my solo work has slowed a bit I was away on vacation, and shortly after getting back I joined a band.  I am still working on my solo stuff though and have big plans for 2020 musically.

Although I love and respect numerous genres, I won't claim loyalty to any of them through my music. I only attempt to write what I would like to hear.

Musical aspects aside, I seek to promote empathy for the world as a whole (not centered around humanity or certain traditionally-accepted groups of people) through my art. Therefore, my music will often have themes of antihumanism, antinatalism and support for assisted suicide. I view the individual human as valuable and worthy of love, but humans' collective behaviors as cancerous and detrimental to ourselves and most other life forms.

I love discovering new music and would like to improve myself as an artist as well. Recommendations and/or constructive criticism are always welcome. :)

(This account used to be primarily for game music I was writing for a retro-style game I was developing, but the project has been on hold for some time right now. Probably I'll make another account for that as this one will focus on dark electro/politically-themed music.)
