 Here's something to mark 2022, to archive where I'm at on this hybrid- digital meets vinyl sound journey. 

Sometimes you listen to the recording and it reveals you had a real squeeze on the room and the vibes reflected are a pleasant surprise. As always listening back was a reckoning with my fIaws forcing me to deep listen and switch on some self acceptance til my mistakes become poetic mishaps meant to coax the message thru. I was touched seeing the divine feminine magnetizing in my sound and bringing the gurlz to the front of the dancing crowd at the Great Northern in San Francisco where this was recorded live - post-thanksgiving weekend in Nov 2022. Jazzy, sexy, manic, strange, grown, and very much me. Enjoy it!

In Indonesia, the term santai (relaxed) is more than just an adjective—it's a lifestyle, one endearingly embodied by DITA. The New Delhi-born, Bali-rooted DJ's breezy attitude to life is reflected in dreamy, blissful euphoria.

DITA's RA Podcast is a window into both her disposition and sound, blending wiggly breakbeat into tweaking acid, Detroit house into Spanish electro, Balearic to '90s house and some grittier club fare, too. Her sets are rooted in a feel-good philosophy that allows her to freely play with energy and mood.

Don't just take our word for it: DJ Harvey hand-picked DITA to be a resident at his new club Klymax, nestled within the world-renowned Potato Head Bali, where DITA is also Head of Music. With gigs at everywhere from Panorama Bar (the first Indonesian woman to play) to Rainbow Disco Club and Dekmantel under her belt, the world is now taking notice of DITA's killer groove. A breakout 2025 surely beckons.

Bassiani 9 hours 😱 live mix to kick off 2o25 💕💕

I’m releasing a ‘shorter’ version inc. room recording out of my 11h set from the legendary Horoom. For so many reasons it was one of my most joyful / meaningful sets I played in 2024. It was a Hydrash collective queer celebration started with a ball, a freestyle voguing dance session and a performance that led to my all-night-long set. For the entire 11h there was a true sense of togetherness and the energy was beautiful. I hope this energy comes through in the recording 👂✨ 

With a bitter taste, it all happened under the shadow of a new anti-LGBTQIA laws which a right-wing government had been preparing and fully enacted just two months later. These laws effectively criminalize being openly gay and label anything related to LGBTQIA+ identities as propaganda. The government as well prevents the freedom of the Georgian people to join the EU and using unlawful tactics to control the population will, including aggression and arresting of protestors. 

Tbilisi’s dance music scene has long been a powerful driver of change. Today, the club community is taking a stand, going on strike, and protesting in the streets. How can we support them?
