Craig Mercer has been a fixture in the East Coast music community for the past 20 years - receiving numerous industry awards, performing over a thousand shows, and developing fans across the globe.  With the completion of his debut solo album the Cape Breton raised artist is looking to write a new chapter in his diverse music career.

Mercer’s newest project The Will Be Gones represents a coming of age for the singer/ songwriter – embodied in songs of heartache, happiness, and a deep love of the east coast.  With subtle hints of rock set to a backdrop of Americana and alt-country, the upcoming album tells the story of an artist at a turning point in both life and in music – and offers a stark contrast from his work to date as the frontman for rock / electronic groups the Jimmy Swift Band and Scientists of Sound.

  (A.K.A.) Simon Walford a DJ of passion. Tapping instinctive minds-eye flow to create multi-layered sequences of melody, complex rhythms and elements of turntablism weaving magic in a crowd. Dancing the whole while he's RAWKIN'.

     His <3 of Electronic music goes back to early childhood when bleep, bloop & blopy noises or distorted sounds put his ears in awe. Possibly as a result of being 25% DEAF by the time he was 5 & getting tubes in his ears.  Thus "curing his osity" for sound.;',)  Entering the scene in '98 promoting in Smithers, BC.  Throwing parties for several years, bringing electronic music to life in his small town. Always providing quality & vibrant decorated productions with a focus on creative atmospheres. Plying his vinyl craft as a purist from 2000-2013 at which point incorporating the Serato platform {on vinyl} to his arsenal.  As a DJ his focus is on the MIX, always working to put ears in AWE from the SUM of his work.;',)
