Born to an outlaw biker father and 16 year old mother, R.W. Roldan came of age in the Los Angeles of the 60’s and 70’s. His family spent a few years homeless, prompting him to join the navy at 17. His young life was full of hard circumstances and difficult environments but Roldan always seemed to soften things with his easy knack for storytelling.

Upon returning to California from his time abroad, R.W. worked all around the San Fernando Valley, immersing himself in the blues and Americana scene. He gravitated towards music and poetry, appreciating contemporary wordsmiths like Dylan and Dr. Seuss as much as American treasures such as Yates and began crafting his own indelible blend of country blues folk rock - a sound that lands somewhere between Hank Williams and Cowboy Junkies.

 R.W. now splits his time between his house in the Topanga hills and a newly-purchased dwelling that once belonged to Fatty Arbuckle in Silverlake, where he’s building a studio in the basement. It was professed to be haunted for the past 12 years, but R.W. found it a suitably creative environment to craft the songs on his official solo outing, Can You Feel This, due out August 17th.

The new LP puts Roldan's adept storytelling front and center, backed by his easy going guitar, mandolin and dobro chops. Tracks like “Big Skies” and “Falling Star” paint an authentically haunting, nostalgic panorama of Los Angeles, while laid back ballads such as “Lauryn’s Song” reveal a sweeter side to the man. It’s all melted in the sweet butter sauce of producer Max Allyn who recently signed R.W. to his AllsWell Records imprint out of Nashville.

Founded in 2015 by lead singer Criss Patrik and drummer Michael Garbe, American Road hails from New Jersey. Their sound has been getting them attention everywhere, thanks to their 2016 Debut EP "I Dream in Country…". The album contains five songs showcasing the bands diversity in styles, while at the same time showing a strong sense of who they are. Their debut single, "U.N.I.R. Country", enjoyed regular rotation on Chris VanZant’s High Octane show on Thunder 106 FM. Various College & Internet radio stations across the country have fallen in love with the songs "I Dream in Country" & "An American". American Road has shared the stage with country stars Tyler Farr, Chase Rice, and most recently, Parmalee. Having been nominated for Nashville's 2016 Josie Independent Music Award for Modern Country Duo/Group of the Year, and being the runner up in the 2016 Nash Next New York region, Jersey's best kept secret of Criss Patrik, Michael Garbe, John DiStase and Brian Michaels, collectively known as American Road, may not be a secret much longer.

I wanted to take a moment to share a bit about myself and my journey in music, which has been a significant part of my life since creating and composing it in the early 2000. I was born a raised in Manhattan NY I started creating music with Kinetics and later explored various software that allowed me to expand my creative horizons.

I pursued my education in engineering at IAR, which has given me a unique perspective on music production. In my earlier days, I enjoyed DJing with my turntables, immersing myself in the world of sound and rhythm. Music truly is my life; I love the art of combining different sounds and techniques to engineering and creating beats, rapping, recording and composing .

I’m a 76 baby , I was heavily influenced by iconic artists from the ' 80s and 90s hip-hop scene, including 2Pac, Biggie, Big L, Big Pun , and more Plus Their creativity and passion inspire me to this day. As a proud 1976 Dragon I carry the essence of that those eras in my work.

My greatest desire is to create. I find joy in writing poetry and songs, pouring my heart into every piece. I hope that the music I produce resonates with you and others, as it comes from a place of authenticity and love.

L’iki (粋?) est une notion esthétique japonaise assez complexe définissant une « sophistication naturelle ». Elle est née durant l'époque d'Edo parmi la classe des chōnin comportant les marchands. Elle peut être caractérisée par un certain détachement, une forme d'élégance, le charme de la discrétion, le sens de l'urbanité, celui de l'ombre plutôt que de la lumière, l'amour des couleurs sobres, le goût des saveurs âpres…

Alors que d'autres notions esthétiques comme le wabi-sabi ont perdu presque toute influence dans le Japon moderne, le terme iki reste couramment employé dans les conversations ou les médias. Dans cette acception contemporaine, iki est à rapprocher des notions occidentales de « cool2 » ou « classe », dont il se distingue toutefois.

DeeLeeAnn is a singer-songwriter and Country/Contempory solo artist from Dallas, Texas. Red Felt,DeeLeeAnn's debut EP, will be released in March 2017. Red Felt is a compilation of songs of the heart that speak to friendship, commitment, heartbreak, and memories. This project is produced by Buddy Hyatt and Ron Palmer, and was recorded at The Tracking Room Studios in Nashville, TN. A second EP for release in late 2017 is already in progress. A separate fun gospel fusion project with Julius "The Genius" Fisher is in the final stages.
