We met the Chainsmokers 3 years ago when they Dj'd a warehouse party we threw in Brooklyn. They played for $500, which at the time was about half their normal rate….. I imagine now that wouldn't buy us an autograph! (just kidding) We really loved their latest song "Let You Go", so we reached out for the acapella to do a remix, and here it is!

Roots For Bloom hit release number eleven with another newcomer to the label. Mara Lakour deliver straight up house grooves from France to the UK based label. Clark St is the big hotter here with powerful stabs and synth lines and that ever present prominent low end that Roots For Bloom is becoming known for. The whole EP carries a 90's twang but brought very much up to date in great style.

Two great artist from Brazil just collabrated together and created a very nice nu disco track, including smooth synths and cool vocal. Moe Turk in hand with Fat Cat Slim did a more punchier remix, and the final touch of the release made by the Constantinne & Felten collabration also from Brazil.

At the end of August Deep Edition Turns 5 and to celebrate we thought we’d release a mixed compilation made up of fresh cuts from long standing artists and of course some fresh faces, this is part 1 of 3 that will make up the final mix.  Starting with a new face we welcome Emiliano Martini offering up the sublime River Mouth, 2Vilas up next with MPV and there infectious Ibizan grooves executing there style perfectly here, we welcome back long standing DE artist and friend Dudley Strangeways boxing off the deep and dubby side of house with his monster Pop up Panther and finally Wally is back from our last EP with Miraflores and well crafted afterhours gem.

5 Years of Deep Edition Part 1

Deep Edition Recordings was launched in 2010 as a platform for a new breed of up and coming artists from the UK and around the world to showcase their production skills and passion for House Music.
 
The label created by Martijn has successfully started promising careers for the likes of [Aura] & production partner RJ Fletcher  together running Tact Recordings.

The label continues to attract support from the leaders’ in House music and still bares the ethos of quality underground Deep House Music.
