Jay Tripwire burst onto the international scene nearly two decades ago with a run of remarkable singles, tracks that practically defined tech-house with their heavy percussion and detroit atmospheres.

Jay Tripwire's work has been featured on numerous compilations, notably from Cocoon, Fabric, Renaissance, Journeys by DJ, Ultra & Bedrock, and is supported by a diverse spectrum of dance culture from house luminaries such as Doc Martin and Kerri Chandler to techno legends Steve Bug, Laurent Garnier, Anja Schneider, Marc Romboy and John Digweed. With an average of 15 releases per year and with, the Tripwire production wheel is surely on its way to a club near you.

Jay's take on Leman & Dieckmann's 'Tempted' is a driving remix that keeps on pushing. A strong bass drone with punchy rhythmical touches has provided the foundation on which original elements are picked out.

'Tempted' comes off Leman & Dieckmann's forthcoming "Northern Jungle/Tempted" EP, which also features remixes from Thermalbear and Ashwin Khosa. Full of Tribal and Tech elements, the Copenhagen duo's double pack sits right across the Deep Tech House spectrum.

Darin Epsilon is a well known Los Angeles based DJ and the mastermind behind Perspectives Digital . We find him in full form with his Miami friend Philip Chedid for a collab named “Endless Sands of Time” out soon on Parquet Recordings.

From Argentina to Kenya and the U.K, Darin delivers sharp Deep House and melodic Techno sets to his eager fans who always want more. Back in 2011, the Chicago native won a competition orchestrated by Beatport and mister John Digweed himself. Since then, Darin’s special skills as a producer put him to the top, with signings on Chapter 24, Global Underground, Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat and Microcastle.

Former Leiden, Holland resident Philip Chedid is an up and coming DJ now based in Forida, he is part of a new generation of artists hailing from the Wynwood area of Miami. His sets are a reflection of the “Burning Man” sound, in the festival’s best years, with a lot of acoustic elements.

The two are meeting on Solee’s imprint, Parquet Recordings, home of D-Nox & Beckers, Oliver Schories and Boss Axis. “Endless Sands of Time” sounds like a real collaboration featuring the mystical vibes of Darin and the Middle East influences of Philip. The song is no dance floor banger, but instead a spiritual poem with beautiful vocals and melodies.

“Endless Sands of Time” will drop on August 1st on Parquet Recordings.

Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave label has been busy laying down foundations for the past twelve months. The run-away commercial success of their debut single “We Do What We Want” was just the start, and have since been setting the standards.

The label boss himself makes his welcome return to the label this October, with Magnetic Dog. The original comes laced with slicing hats, crispy yet superbly deep thundering kicks and a cheeky dose of acid thrown in for good measure.

Alan wrote the original back in 2016 and waited for that special remix to finalise the package. Always a supporter of Marcus Intalex and his productions, under his Trevino moniker he delivered a masterfully deep rework, taking down the tempo and achieving a euphoric cut of the original.

"Fueled by an evolving creative process the Greek artist has remained at the forefront of electronic music for over fifteen years. Now Dousk showcases his studio repertoire once again with his latest three track sound story 'West of Dub'. The EP's title cut begins the journey into deep, cavernous grooves and funk fuelled rhythms. Esoteric vocals add mightily to the narrative, forever shifting the focus as dubby tones and wonky stabs fill in the framework. "On the next installment of Karakter Records, the label spotlights a truly unique geographic combination where Brazil meets Russia with a Portuguese-Indian blend. Art in Motion and Panorama Channel met in Russia a little over two years ago, sparking the connection that eventually led up to this unique release. “The Last Adventure of Voodoo Houngan” is as fitting a name as ever; already feeding the imagination while the soundtrack fills in the last blanks. The hypnotic rhythms, whispers and pads slowly explain how the dark omen influenced the fate that befell upon Houngan, grasping for a last method to give his final sacrifice a purpose. Or perhaps you tell a different story with that you hear?

Both Art in Motion and Panorama Channel have already earned their spurs as pioneers of the deep, rhythmic and emotional blend of house music. Brazilian producer Vicente Amadeo has seen his earlier works being released on NYC-based Stranjjur and Mother recordings (and earning plays by all the big diggers, such as Lee Burridge and Laurent Garnier), while the Panorama Channel guys have made a steady rise in recent years with their two EP’s on Biologic Records, grasping the attention of for instance Âme and Abstraxion.

Lastly, we are honored that Lisbon based @Switchdance makes his return on Karakter with a remix based around grooving drums, delivering the deepest piece of this release.

Monkey Safari’s third album comes in perfect time for the summer sunshine. The duo follow up their last LP, ‘Odyssey’, with this warm, inviting collection of music designed to brighten your day and complement the glorious sunny days that bless us during the summer.

Sven and Lars learned some valuable lessons from their last long-player, and the new album ‘HI’ comes from a far more relaxed, easy-going place. An organic project that came together quite naturally, their third album sees the duo in high spirits ready to bring a large dose of positive vibes and emotional depth to the party.

Kicking off with ‘Sturm’, we’re immediately immersed in a world of wistful vocals, haunting pads and emotive synth lines. This is music made to move your body and your soul. As an introduction to the album it’s ideal, providing a great juxtaposition between brooding melancholy and uplifting vibes.

Next up is ‘Parallel Lines’, a sombre yet inspiring cut that takes us deep into Monkey Safari’s world. The folk-esque vocals ride the instrumental, which stirs your emotions giving the listener chills up and down their spine. ‘Shangri La’ is a slow burner that wouldn’t feel out of place on the Playa at Burning Man. The sultry cut builds into a crescendo of emotive sounds with a break in proceedings leading into a spine-tingling drop.

Title track ‘HI’ truly embodies the sound of the album. One of those tunes that will resonate with audiences all over the world, the universal feeling of joy it transmits has already been lifting dance floors at festivals and clubs across the world as Sven and Lars have been roadtesting it in their sets for some time now.

‘Breed’ follows next, with a more downtempo pace allowing space for contemplation. The carefully programmed beats and chimes set a calm tone, encouraging a myriad of thoughts and feelings to rise to the surface. This one builds into cacophony of strings and keys, all delicately aligned to keep the atmosphere meditative. Next is ‘Red’, a more pulsating, insistent cut with a surefire dance floor vibe. Techno fans will be relishing this cut with its hypnotic riff and scintillating pad work.

‘New Day’ lives up to its title, evoking the feeling of those twilight hours when you’re leaving a club at dawn and the day is just beginning to get started. Monkey Safari slowly unveil the brighter side of this cut, in the same way the sun can creep up from the horizon to share its warm glow. ‘Shelter’ brings more emotional depth, with a mournful motif supporting the vocal clip. This one grows into a spinetingling affair with a breakdown that uses new wave-esque synth lines to really get you pumped with energy.

The penultimate track ‘Walls’ utilises a silky vocal once again to take us into a joyous zone. This is the kind of track that encourages you to get close to a loved one, share an intimate embrace and close your eyes as the vibrations take you to another dimension. Slow, seductive and soulful in equal measure.

Finally, ‘Love To Exist’ closes the album. A love-filled song produced with passion by the duo, who leave the listener on a high with this final cut. Kick back and soak up the warm vibes, listen to the words and fill your heart with love.

Fabled duo VIKTOR TALKING MACHINE offers the next Monaberry release. Their track LINE briefly brushes the club with a colorful groove, catchy claps, and sweaty breaks. Intense synth chords merge with hypnotic ethno-vocals into a rich track with a rousing vibe. Italo Brutalo injects line with a shot of 80s House, thus creating a fluorescend remix for the hottest hours at the club.
JOKO moves straight to the dancefloor, mesmerizing all senses with a fairytale arrangement, goosebumpy melodies, and a warm synth line. The vocals embrace body and mind while the breaks invite us to a long endorphine rush. Lauer pumps up his remix with a mighty groove, additional synths, and a tender touch of House.

Freeride Millenium head to St Petersburg and the Delicate Features duo for another excellent EP that follows previous great outings on the label.

This pair is made up of singer Radmila Nikogosian and composer Pavel Astvatsaturian and they have consistently put out music that grabs the imagination. Labels like Not Not Fun as well as Freeride Millenium have released their sounds and ensured the pair grow ever more prominent in the scene with their superbly emotional music that draws on ambient, abstract and downtempo.

Opening up the EP is ‘Brume’, a widescreen ambient masterpiece that has fluttering keys and gorgeous pads extending off to the horizon. The majestic ‘Because I Want To’ introduces gentle drums but the focal point again is the exquisite melody, deft keys and angelic vocals that bring heavenly feel.

The halfway point is marked by the super slow and heavy drums of ‘Nude’, a spacious dub cut with ambient beauty soothing your soul, then ‘Pulkovo Lights’ is an eight-minute journey into bumpy rhythms that feature more fantastic synth craft and grand composition. This most delightful of musical trips closes with the stunning melancholy of ‘Way Home’ which has vulnerable keys and acoustic guitars drifting in space.

This is timeless music that is beautifully crafted and is utterly absorbing from start to finish.
