Svarog – is representative of Ukrainian techno scene. This name for the project was inspired by ancient mythology. He prefers underground techno sound in his work. Svarog combines saturated timbres, landscape textures and ambient shades, sometimes uses broken rhythms. He is inspired by mountains and architecture.

This mix features tracks by SNTS , Rambadu , Primal Code , Ruhig , Mersel , Oscar Mulero , Dycide etc.

DifferentSound invites Svarog / Podcast #062

NESS has been a basic constant in hypnotic and repetitive techno for many years. The DJ and producer with a background in sound engineering has continued to sharpen and refine his own style over the years. He has rightly been recognized worldwide for this and booked into the most relevant clubs and festivals in the world.

We are happy to have him on the Benzin Vol. 1 record as well as welcome him to ://about blank on Feb 25, where he will close the MDF floor with his distinctive sound.

And if that wasn't enough, he's recorded the second Benzin podcast for us, which will air exclusively on Radio Fratz on 17th of February 2023.

His relationship with music begins at an early age at school playing various instruments, showing great versatility (guitar and piano). His musical influences were marked by his parents and older brothers (mainly rock, metal and electronic).

In 2015 he decides to explore new musical facets, beginning his career as a DJ; In a short time he manages to play in several clubs and matches in his native country, Chile, receiving good reviews for his rudeness.

In 2019 he decides to go deeper and find his own sound, taking music production classes, it is in this context where he finds his sound identity, techno.

2020 marks a milestone in his short career, managing to sign his first track on the Assasin Soldier Recordings label; already in 2021 he begins to sign with major record labels such as Muted Recordings (Portugal), Selected Recordings (Spain), Newrythmics (Spain), Olympian (United States), receiving very good reviews and his music begins to be played by great exponents DJ's and producers from the scene such as: Marcell Dettmann, Adriana Lopez, Slam, DJ Nobu, Border One, Jeroen Search, Vertical Spectrum, A.Morgan, Michael Klein, Marco Faraone, 30drop, Stephanie Sykes, Kaiser, Arnaud Le Texier, Wata Igarashi, Quelza , DJ SHUFFLEMASTER, Jamaica suk, Pfirter, Joseph Capriati, among others.

In mid-2022 he is invited to the release date of the new ATOM TM album, being in charge of closing the evening.

Biography:
Kobe Dupree is a Chicago-based producer, DJ, and event curator with a focused interest in exploring the dub, deep, and psychedelic sides of techno. His fascination with the philosophical concepts of minimalism drives the ongoing evolution of his music. Kobe’s dedication to sonic experimentation is showcased through releases on labels such as 4Trk Recordings, Trax Research, Darkroom Bureau, and Dingning Tapes. Outside the studio, he curates events with Low Visibility, DJs, and performs live sets to connect with the energy of each space.

Crossfade Sounds welcomes Colombian artist Bastian Tierr for his label debut with the Faith EP. Based in the Eastern Plains, the sound designer and producer first emerged earlier this year with his inaugural release on Nicolas Barnes' ECOUL SND imprint. Now making his second career appearance, Bastian brings a three-track showcase that reflects both precision and emotional depth.

The EP begins with the title piece Faith, a work that establishes his atmospheric sensibility and attention to sonic detail. From there, Bastian offers two distinct versions of Forgiveness: an original mix that unfolds with patient flow, and a Dub Reprise that strips the elements to their essence, highlighting texture and space.
