As we approach the end of summer, I am delighted to welcome Marius Bø to Deep Mind Music with an ethereal mix of celestial atmospheres to calm the soul ✧｡⋆.

Inspired by recent time spent in the mountains of Norway, the mix takes us high into the stratosphere, where whispers of cirrus clouds melt into the surrounding sky. Gentle blankets of emotive tones morph around us, as we are carried forth into the sacred chambers of the inner mind.

As the mix progresses, delicate arpeggiated spirals bloom across the imagination, and we are held in delicate suspension above the earth, floating, weightless, in quiet introspection. Thank you Marius for this beautiful mix, a space for deep reflection and blissful harmony within.

Years ago, Marius invited me to make an ambient and downtempo mix for @ute-rec’s mix series after listening to Deep Mind Music (https://soundcloud.com/ute-rec/ute-mix-series-49-sybil), so it is a great joy to present this transcendent mix from Marius himself on Deep Mind Music today 🤍💠🌙

Thailand-based Sunju Hargun is a producer, DJ, and co-founder of Siamese Twins Records, known for his "forward-thinking with past feelings" sound — a storyteller who brings together psychedelic acid, minimal, trance, techno, and ambient into timeless passages across mind, body, and space.

Author’s note: In this set—beyond the water theme, where we play with certain field recordings that evoke it, like the dripping of irrigation systems, the Mediterranean Sea (since we are in Catalonia, with a poem by Ovidi Montllor at the beginning and another by Salvador Espriu near the end), rain, or even the washhouse itself—we also wanted to play with sunlight. Our set began in the sun and ended at night, and the musical progression was designed to follow that change.

Binomi (@binomi) is the project of Jordi Aparicio (@slim-jordi) and Joan Gila (@joan-gila), born from a friendship forged through music and a constant exchange of records, recommendations, and sonic curiosities. DJs and record collectors from Tarragona, they run the radio program of the Mostra festival together with their friend Javi, and have appeared on stations such as Dublab Barcelona with a show dedicated to exploring the history of musical movements across different regions.

DIGIT is a decentralized micro-festival of electronic music and digital art taking place on 12–13 September 2025 across Montbrió del Camp, Pratdip, and Reus (Tarragona). Organized by the cultural association El Rampell (@elrampell) - based in Pratdip, about 150 km from Barcelona - the festival brings contemporary culture to rural settings and the wider Tarragona region.

As part of the program, Binomi will perform at Els Rentadors during the deep-listening journey, sharing the stage with Bastien, .apart, Perila, and ABSIS.

This month's spiralling, naturally show sees host basic chanel invite Australian artist Zara onto Netil Radio, taking over an hour each. Zara's recent releases on Butter Sessions with Command D and solo on amenthia recordings as well as Animalia, Amniote Editions, QEONE, and Pure Space, have been a staple in my sets so I'm super excited to welcome Zara on the show whilst she's here in London! Todays Monument Recording comes from this summers Midgar x Useless Seconds party in Berlin.

DK's session was captured at the event following his recent release on Midgar fulfilling a debut at the label showcase event.

On the day he played the second slot of the afternoon after Lilli Zykla's ambient opening,  gently shifting towards left field territories covered in drums at a downtempo pace.
