E.M.C. atmospheres #116 - Eclektic

Eclektic is the ambient and downtempo project of Zurich-based artist Dani Stucki. Blending electronic music with a deep connection to nature, his sound merges evolving synth textures, organic field recordings, and subtle beats — a sonic space where stillness meets movement.
 
Rooted in classical guitar and shaped by a lifelong love for both music and the natural world, Dani naturally gravitated toward slower, more introspective forms of electronic music. What began as experimentation became a signature style: immersive, emotional, and grounded in organic soundscapes.
 
As Eclektic, he has released three albums, several EPs, and remixes on labels including @sofa-beats-1 ( @ibogarecords ), and has performed live at renowned festivals including @boomfestival , @hadratrancefestival , @ozora-festival and Sun. His Live sets invite listeners on meditative journeys — deep, atmospheric, and ever-evolving.

Ilya Semashkevich is a Belarusian-Polish composer, sound engineer, and multidisciplinary artist born in 1997 in Brest. His practice merges electronic and acoustic composition, live performance, improvisation, and visual expression. With a background in jazz, sound production, and experimental music, he works across genres such as ambient, idm, trance, house, and contemporary classical. His approach treats sound as both structure and form, a tool for perception, memory, and artistic thinking. Influenced by lo-fi aesthetics, minimalism, and sonic spatiality, Semashkevich explores the concept of “Imaginative Mixing”, aural equivalents of visual composition.

Ilya had to say the following about this live-recording: "For me, this live performance became a release of accumulated thoughts about home life and the art of “dirty listening.”
Life runs, flows, flies, crawls, stands still.
And I sit, walk, float, watch.
In hot or frosty, gray or yellow days - coziness makes me stronger.
Listening to this recording on a proper sound system will, of course, be great, but even through your phone speakers, you won’t lose its essence."

Âsan is back on home ground with a recording from this year’s annual upstate gathering hosted by the @itsdelayed crew. It’s his third appearance on the Cellar Door podcast and his second set from the place we’ve all come to know as The Barn. As a friend once said, “go to the barn and forget everything,” and that couldn’t ring truer.

Recorded live, this mix captures Âsan closing out Friday night after an incredible set from a dear friend and the man behind "Sundays For.." series @huedj. The energy carried deep into the night, blending warmth, tension, and release in equal measure — a journey that felt both spontaneous and familiar. It's an evolving snapshot of a moment shared under those familiar wooden beams with some of the most amazing people this place brings together.

Hi everyone! In this new Hyperborea episode, we have the great joy and honour to feature @loscil. An artist of huge influence, whose music has accompanied us for countless hours, calming our souls. His art has often been our compass when we needed to slow down, breathe, and drift into a different kind of focus.

In this session, Loscil offers a gentle drift through textured drones and spacious tones, creating a calm, enveloping environment for quiet focus and deep listening.

Crate digger with over 20 years of experience behind the turntables, Doozer has always maintained the motto of his personal project BrokenLoop: "Musical ideas for those who swim against the tide." His sets pass over various genres, blurring the frontiers of dance music with hypnotic and deep rhythms. Currently, he is part of three cutting-edge musical projects around the @espacio-perpendicular brand. For this occasion, Doozer explores deep dark atmosphere ranging from drone sounds to slow melted-down rhythms, an hypnotic trip into the realm of experimental and ambient.
