Another familiar face returns for DSS 103.

Piante Vive was born late 2023 when two producers and friends started to make electronic music together, influenced by the techno scene in Milan and their different perspectives and experiences in the music industry. While Biocym comes from deep techno and focuses mainly on hypnotic grooves, Succo has his roots in the italian trap/hip hop scene, focusing on melodies and ambient elements. Their increasing affinity lead them to produce tracks which reflects elements from different musical genres. Piante Vive represents the result of the union between the artistic taste of both artists and, at the same time, their will to explore their sensibility in a deeper way.

Bio:

Jaime Romero aka Estrato Aurora  is also the half of Pajaro Dune project (with David Ortolá). He has been an integral part of Valencia's underground music scene. Jaime as a Dj and producer has more than 2 decades in the studio working with analogic machines and a whole kind of stuff. He defines himself as an Atmospheric music worker. His line on the last years has leaded to publish on known labels such as: Alpenglühen, Bliq Rec, Appian Sounds, On Board, Dial Rec,Discos Pandémicos,Grabaciones Perpendiculares, Oslated, HC Records, Sure Thing, Sungate...
Together with d_o_ppelgaenger his new label “Sediments” has just been released.

Next up in our mix series is Innersha, hailing from Yerevan, Armenia. As an initiator in the local raving scene and a co-founder of the dk.tsk collective, her artistic development has been significantly shaped by the communal music experience. Innersha is a relatively new face to the scene, with her debut EP just last October, on Polygonias label ‘QEONE’. In the short time she has already carved her sound, and with upcoming performances at the iconic Macadam and pe:rsona festival this summer. Innersha also contributed with a track on the freshly released '8 Years of Ute' CD, which dropped this week.

For this episode, Innersha shares a live recording from her set at the Omen Wapta Weekender at Garage Noord in Amsterdam in April. The mix is a raw, heads-down excursion into hypnotic territory, full of shifting patterns, deep pulses, and high pace. Capturing the energy of a packed room in motion, the set balances intensity with restraint, showcasing Innersha’s ability to hold tension and guide a narrative across the arc of a live performance.

This week we’re in the Bay Area, where Endzeit has quietly become one of the most thoughtful techno series on the West Coast. Over the past few years, they’ve brought in artists who feel closely aligned with our extended niche community, people who approach sound with care, intention, and a sense of forward movement. We’re glad to host Torsion, the founders of the Endzeit, whose "Delayed with..."  mix captures the clarity and pressure that runs through everything they do.

Torsion doesn’t move in straight lines. Their work circles, strains, folds in on itself, always dragging tension to the surface. Formerly known as Sentient, the duo has spent years refining a sound that resists resolution. Their recent track Misgivings, released on Semantica’s Petricor compilation, lands like a pressure system, low-end submerged just enough to make your footing uncertain. There’s no payoff, no center, just a dense psychoacoustic atmosphere that holds you in place and dares you to find shape in it.

Torsion's mix for Delayed stays on-brand in the best way: tight, physical, with a kind of controlled momentum that hits first in the chest, then catches up to your head. It opens with force, big room sound, no wasted space, but somewhere around the midpoint, the gears slip. Syncopation edges in, structure blurs. It’s not a derailment, more like a detour through darker, looser terrain. By the end, the groove snaps back, but the trip has already shifted. What starts as propulsion ends in something more hypnotic. It’s techno made with discipline and intent. No spectacle, no filler, just impact.
