'Blind Forest' is a captivating track by Cafe De La Jungle, part of his EP by the same name. Coming out on Polygonia's Qeone record label on March 20, the track stands out for its atmospheric and tribal elements blended with harmonious textures. Introducing "And Breathe" - A Dub Techno Odyssey by Sephirot

Embark on an immersive voyage into deeper waters, one that navigates submerged rhythms and interlocking musical currents. "And Breathe," the debut Dub Techno album by Sephirot, invites you to lose yourself in a hypnotic auditory journey that seamlessly blends rich atmospherics and binaural field recordings with fathomless kinetic pulses straight from the darkest dance floor.  Drawing inspiration from the pioneers of Dub Techno, Sephirot's weaves echoes of legendary figures like Basic Channel and Rhythm & Sound into his compositions. Yet, his distinctive fusion of haunting soundscapes and oceanic baselines alongside more contemporary elements pays just as much homage to UK pioneers like Burial, creating an compelling convergence of Berlin's club culture and the innovative styles that have emerged in the UK over the past two decades.

Within each track, Sephirot's compositions echo the ebb and flow of the tides, with serene moments intertwining with pulsating crescendos, offering moments of introspection and dancefloor euphoria in equal measure. One minute degraded dub chords are interwoven with intricate hocketed patterns and captivating two-step hi-hats, the next vast new spaces are conjured with dense layers of sound recalling Ambient innovators such as William Basinski and Taylor Deupree, as much as they do late nights from Bristol to Detroit.  Throughout, “And Breathe’s” diverse tracks become gateways to different parts of this journey, from the shimmering textures of “Zero Zone”, to the driving mechanical rhythms and barely glimpsed duduk melodies of “And Again (One for Pie Eye)”, to the spring reverb drenched title track, and even "Frog Galaxy" blunted and skittering rhythms, each composition draws you a little deeper into the album’s magnetic pull.

"And Breathe" finds its home on Natural Expressions, the sister label of Drift Deeper - a hallowed sanctuary for seekers of sublime electronic discoveries. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur of Dub Techno or a curious voyager of uncharted musical territories, “And Breathe” is a rewarding album that bears repeated listening.

The summer of 2008, the Echo Inspectors are touring Germany. One of their stops lands them in Koln, after getting their fix of record shopping at Kompakt they would meet up at a local bar with Pawas who just remixed their latest record. Joining the guys for a mid afternoon beer would be local producer and friend of Pawas, Adam Kroll.

Fast forward to 2020 and Adam would reappear on the radar as Adam K.Roll with a fresh new dub sound, completely different to the minimal techno records of the mid 2000’s. This fresh take on dub would capture the interest of the Echo Inspectors.

Many DM’s later would lead to Adam producing five fresh tunes for Primary Colours.

Trying to describe Adam’s music is not easy. Adam seamlessly blends the sounds of Dub Techno, Ambience, Electronica, Jamaican Dub and an infusion of summer island sounds.

Primary Colours has the honour of re-releasing one of their favourite Adam K.Roll tunes, Into The Ocean, initially released digitally on Adam’s on Bandcamp page, Into the Ocean has been reborn on wax. We loved it so much that we got the Echo Inspectors to remix it into a formidable dub techno groover.

'Defrag' starts with a heavy beat and mid-tempo pace, echoing with intense chord patterns. The track feels like a journey through decryption, unveiling messages with each progression. 'Oscillek' delves into deeper techno realms, featuring many busy, creative sounds that simulate a battle of information processing. The beat is devastatingly consistent, embodying sci-fi techno at its finest. The track creates an atmosphere of internal conflict, as if two forces are vying for dominance within a digital landscape. 'Lithic' has grainy, digital chords that sound as rough as sandstone, and embraces a classic dub techno rhythm.
