Synthbiont & Anassimandrus is the new ambient/experimental project born at the end of 2018 by the collaboration between Nicolò Faggiani and Tommaso Gobbo.

Their musical background comes from different musical experiences as DJs, vinyl collectors, and founders of two web-radios dedicated respectively to electronic music and dub-reggae.

Synthbiont & Anassimandrus was developed to research the deepest ambient atmospheres, creating musical journeys where the listener can immerse itself in a parallel sound universe.

The idea behind the mixing and the mastering process is to elaborate on different digital and analog sources, editing field recordings, samples, and creating a unique soundscape.

Hey Folks, today we share the wonderful podcast signed by Second Section. 

David Maurer (aka Second Section) is an Austrian-born DJ & producer and was already musically influenced as a child. At the age of 9 he showed enormous enthusiasm for the piano and is still playing it. He developed his passion for electronic music shortly after his 16th birthday. Dave has been very active in the drum & bass / jungle scene for 10 years now. He is known for his dedication to autonomic, minimal, atmospheric and breaky bits. His style has already inspired people in locations & festivals such as Membrain Festival, Noise Test, Grelle Forelle Wien, Fluc Wien, Flex Wien, Dachsbau Innsbruck, Rockhouse Salzburg, Stadtwerkstatt Linz, LOCO Soundclub Villach, Sakog Kulturwerk, Bunker Graz & many more.. He is also A&R for the P LAB Recordings label & resident at their well-known events. The love for ambient music, downtempo, deep cinematic soundscapes and organic textures started a few years ago.

Established in Amsterdam, Viktor has dedicated almost a decade to playing and experimenting with electronic music. DJ and Producer he is now mostly affiliated with the ISOTOOP collective, helping with transmitting their unique sonic identity. Today, Vand is delivering a beautiful selection of deep electronic music. Driving slower and deeper he is introducing us to his world.

April begins with another lovely ambient journey! Welcome to Echo & Rauschen!

Based in Potsdam, Germany, Alex is a music enthusiast and cassette collector with Estonian roots. Intrigued by tropical mysterious sounds, electronic soundscapes, and world music, Echo & Rauschen explores the realm of organic sounds in combination with deep ambient electronic vibes. Compiled between Autumn 2022 & Spring 2023, he prepared for us a musical odyssey of almost 3 hours in which you can lose and find yourself again.

Cloud 9

A soothing, blissful and healing yoga / meditation mantra. The lyrics are in the Sanskrit language; it is a chant is known as the 'Shanti Mantra' or the 'Peace Invocation'. Very suitable as the beginning or end of a yoga practice or meditation session to invoke a sense of harmony, peace, and unity among all participants, and featuring a chant of Shanti (Peace) and Ohm (Focus chant). The background music is meditative, peaceful, dreamy, and full of beautiful light -- inviting the listener to a deeper state of mindfulness, light and balance. Vocals performed by Indranil Chowdhury. Ambionic (Joe Woodruff) has been an avid collector of all types of music since the early 90's and began mixing electronic music around 12 years ago. Initially influenced by Trance, Psy Trance, House and Techno, he now pursues the deeper and more downtempo sounds of Dub and Ambient.
