About Spacecraft:
Spacecraft is the solo music project of Mumbai based producer Rishi Bhatia.

Inspired by the heavens since early years, Rishi tries to express how he feels through his music. Spacecraft is a music project deriving inspiration from the likes of Stellardrone, Carbon Based Lifeforms, etc. Usually producing ambient & space music, Rishi tries to be receptive when it comes to inspirations for his music.

This monthly released podcast brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer. This months session is created by Funky Jeff.

About the mix:

 As I often take the plane and I have a bunch of long ambient tracks over 30, 40 and 50 minutes from Bandcamp, I thought of making a mix longer than usual (usually less than 80 for CD's) for the purpose of soothing the plane flights. Also inspired by Brian Eno, I preferred beatless tracks with nurturing synth sounds.

Simon Wester - Calm In The Storm (feat. Annika Blomfeldt)

Last year Portland native Graintable released his debut album on Ransom Note Records, a cassette release that exposed the world to his deftness at navigating the relationship between melody, emotion and texture. Marking his first physical release, sonically the LP, entitled Herons, tipped the hat to past masters like Steve Roach and Brian Eno, categorised by those feelings of being adrift, never stationary. 

His return to the label came earlier this month with another cassette in the form of Universal Ash; a leftfield ambient synth journey that, as the titled suggests, touches on themes of loss, rebirth and truth. With this LP he pushed his boundaries even further, building on the stylistic textures and emotions present on his debut through a series of one-take jams. 

Adept in the soothing and the mind-altering, he's pieced together a selection of new age records to help ease you into the week...

Graintable: The 'Monday is OK' Mix

Bio:
