Sometimes it's a matter of perspective. It’s that old story: If you only know one leg of the elephant, you might think it's a tree. Only different perspectives give you the full picture.

The same applies to a frame. For some, it means orientation, focus, safety, or the rules for a good game. For others, a frame means limitation, restriction, regulation, or an inappropriate narrative. Both perspectives are valid depending on space, time, and the people involved. Of course, different perspectives are not alternative facts. A fire in the Carakum Desert is not a date grove. However, the meaning of a fact depends on our perspective. Behind some perspectives are needs. That is human nature. I want to dance, you want to dance. Shall we try it together? Not every step on the other’s toe is wicked intent. Sometimes it's clumsiness, sometimes it's even funny, and sometimes you've just made a really wild move yourself. Sometimes it's a wake-up call… When we forget how to share different perspectives, we see trees where there are elephants, we see division where there are similarities, and fears are fulfilled instead of needs. And in the end, we may only see letters where we actually can hear Meeronauten Musik!

This was the first time playing with one of my musical soul brothers TantRut (@tantrut). Ruud was one of the bright and colourful beating hearts of our Ubulahnti camp, and getting to finally play some tunes out on the Playa in Tankwa together that Thursday afternoon was unforgettable, especially as our devoted and beloved camp members came scurrying over for a beautiful sunset dance together. So much love to you all in reliving those moments out there, and to Amie, Tania and the rest of the Ubulahnti Family for providing such a wonderful home out there.

Within hours of walking through the stone gates of the The Monastery in Goch, Germany, I quickly knew it going to become one of my favourite gatherings of all time. The Gardens of Babylon crew sure know how to put on a proper party. What transpired on Saturday night left me absolutely speechless. After Damian Lazarus delivered an outstanding performance on main stage, the decks were moved to Kloster Cafe where Deep and I got to spontaneously go back to back surrounded by all of our nearest and dearest. Shout out to my flow fam for the support, to Deep my soul brother for choosing to ask me of all people if I had my USB on me to Shishi who made this magic happen. This is a memory I've never forget 🙏🏽✨ Enjoy xx

As a tremendous year of adventures music and 'find your tribe' comes to a close, I look back to one of my favourite nights of this year, where I had the chance to once again co-create a beautiful oasis with my beautiful ZERZURA family and expand beyond our Kiez Burn borders to connect with the Berlin and German Burner community. 

Shortly before taking over the decks, Jae & I had a look around the steamy, sweaty sea of people swaying and dancing the night away in the Werkstatt, and Jae asked me what I was in the mood for tonight. I thought about it for a second, and I said, "Well, we have a steamy sauna in front of us, with sweat dripping down the knobs and faders, so let's do these people a favour and help them get naked by the end of the night!' 

It was truly a night of many firsts. It was the first time Jae and I played a gig together (and definitely not for the last time!). However, the most unforgettable first among them, was getting to see a podium full of dancing naked goddesses in raptures to our music. We were truly humbled, and are so happy we can finally relive that incendiary Burn Night again.

My musical connection with Sriracha started on the dusty plains of the Rainbow Serpent Festival in 2019, where I stumbled upon a crowd of people dancing around a circus train. I thought 'who the hell is this chick playing half my playlist?' We connected soon after and by the time I left Melbourne, I had an incredible new musical soul family. 

Fast forward to Summer 2019, and The Monastery that made us cross paths yet again--this time on my home turf in a way, at the Gardens of Babylon. A fiery, and some dare say deep, musical bond was forged in the Kloster Café that Saturday night after I cheekily asked her if she had her USBs on her shortly after I was asked to play spontaneously at the Not-So-Secret Stage. Next thing she knew, she had her impromptu debut at one of the most beautiful and beloved musical gatherings around. That night and the follow-on adventure at Garbicz and Berlin were probably among the two unforgettable weeks of 2019, and one that left us certain that we were kindred spirits of sorts, somehow each other's spirit animals.

Fast forward again to March 2020, when I snuck off for my yearly visit to Melbourne and was graciously invited to stay at a spaceship, and woken up on a Sunday morning with the news that Sriracha was suddenly left without a b2b partner, so she walked into my room and cheekily asked if I had my USBs on me. Next thing I know, we were back to continue that musical bond and write another incredible little chapter together.

It has been a somewhat surreal start to the new decade, and one clouded in much uncertainty and soul searching, but one thing is certain: Yelena and I have many more chapters and adventures to write together. Europe awaits my spirit animal <3

He's a Dallas based DJ, that has been in the electronic music scene since the late 2000's, where he became infatuated by the rich textures and high energy of Trance.

Inspired by OTC sets, his taste quickly gravitated from peak-time, floor stomping tracks to center more toward the progressive, evocative soundscapes of the deeper cuts that would be played at the beginning of the night. After moving to a much smaller city in 2015 for graduate school, where an electronic scene was non-existent, he decided to immerse himself in the art of DJing, furthering his passion for the melodic and hypnotic sounds that drive extended sets. 

In 2019 he founded Shades, a mix series that explores the current state of House, Techno, and Trance.

Duboko Deep is passionate collector & DJ coming out of Zagreb (Croatia). His love to music started in early age. His mother and father collector’s of chanson francaise,jazz music,canzoni italiane,Sinatra,Dean Martin, soundtrack’s etc. His passion for music begins with vinyl records of disco, italo, hi-energy, Canadian disco, synth-infused, 80s music, soul …He got involved in the electronic music & house in late 80s, shortly after club music took over him. From the very beginnings Deep house was sound to which he remained most faithful, simply because it was love at the first listen! And so it continues… His musical selection is best described as pure, deep, melodic vibes which takes you “Duboko” (“Deep” in Croatian)! Trough his sets you can feel eclectic beautiful synth works, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, oriental sounds, and occasional vocal hooks. His music styles are open minded. He practises emotional tunes, and it does not matter whether are new or old. It is important that they raise his emotional moment which can reach out to listeners through his selections. And so it has for years, through various clubs, lounge bars, on different kinds of events like museums, beaches giving out smiles and satisfaction to his listeners.
