"Returning to BM after 3 years was intense and instantly reminded me, how peculiar it is to play out in the desert. A constant trial of strength with the forces of nature. 
On Friday night my set at Mayan Warrior was scheduled. I took a quick disco nap before but fell into a deep sleep. Fortunately Chris Schwarzwälder had decided to accompany me. He woke me up and as soon as we started riding our bikes towards the playa we found ourselves in a whiteout which means no visible horizon and you can forget about finding an art car in the deep playa even with massive laser-rays that cut through dust and darkness. Thanks to Chris' navigation skills we finally came across the Mayan Warrior art car right in time 🙏🏼🥺😍 Here is what happened next…"

More than half of the tracks are my own productions to be released soon, hope you enjoy!! So much joy and emotion that morning that I had tears of ecstatic bliss all along! An Orchestra for the Spirit was played live in Black Rock City, riding the Maxa Deer. It was an offering of frequencies and words to bring unity to the Burning Man community that was about to witness the temple rise in flames.

As we believe in synchronicities over coincidences, we are sensitive and deeply touched by the powerful fires that burned for weeks in our beloved California. We contemplated what our best offering could be to support, and realized it is the perfect timing to share hours of music and inspiring poetry, to navigate the mysterious waves of trascendence and trust. 

From our hearts, this set is for everyone feeling the painful part of a shedding skin, a letter lost, a broken heart, or a physical or metaphorical home brought to ashes that now requires full trust to rise again and build a new landscape.

Here’s to new landscapes. 

We allow this orchestra for the spirit to tell the rest. 

A wave of gratitude to Noraj Cue and Burgs for your talent and wisdom imprinted into this set.

Getafixx is Justin King, now living in Berlin, Germany, but London is his home.

Getafixx mixes a range of beautiful and blissful electronica, IDM and ambient tracks with a sprinkling of voice/film/folly samples that add to the emotional roller-coaster of the aural mix. Deep Stories is a collective of DJ/producers, writers and photographers with a passion for storytelling in all possible ways. In their universe, sounds, words and images form a complementary unity, so that the audience can absorb all these different sensations at the same time.
